Advanced Car Stereo

I was referred to this place by a honest mechanic but unfortunately had the worst experience. I was charged $750.00 for installation of a radio that I found out after is retail $165.00 and as of 2019 is no longer being produced by the manufacturer (Jensen vx7228) I changed my mind about the transaction because the price felt too much but they told me it was too late because they had already taken out my old radio. Though I offered to pay them for the labor, they would not budge. You would think for almost $1000.00 they would have at least did a thorough job but nope, I had to go back and deal with them again that same day because they didn't hook my air conditioner back up, which left me driving to Pasadena melting in the heat.The radio doesn't even work well, I had to look up a location on my phone because the GPS gave me every DSW except the closest one! Complete waste of money, probably why they discontinued it! I called around after, every place I called told me no more than $350.00 they would have charged me. I went back a week later and asked them to explain in detail to me how kit, harness, install and radio add up to $750.00 he told me that because of Covid radios cost more ( hmmm the radio was discontinued in 2019) and he told me the installation could be any where up to $200 or more which is weird because their sign says $150, why was my 2010 car being charged more than the average? That still leaves the kit and harness which i found on line for $20-$35. Nothing is detailed on my receipt. Scammers and bullies!

This is a great shop with great service as well as customer service. It's like they say good people and good service bring you back and you will tell a friend. after going back time n time again to get my system hooked up correctly and tired of geeting ripped off at this so called advaced stereo place ( WHAT A JOKE)
I decided to take my car to a different shop name AUDIO VISION told them my issues and they just told me straight out. dont worry we can look at your system for a flat price of $35 to see whats going on . wont do anything else to we talk 2 you and tell u exactly whats wrong . after paying $3000 to advanced stereo (thieves !!!!) it was relieved to hear $35 they told me what was wrong and what was going to take to fix and I told them fix it and thank you for being honest and making me believe in shops like this again . wowwww what a difference from this 2 shops i will post pics of wiring that was donr at advanced stereo and after was repaired at AUDIO VISION WHAT A DIFFERENCE IN WORK . MY SYSTEM SOUNDS FANTASTIC NOW . had to go back and talked to this idiots denis manager and owner sam
just to show them and let them know what a good quality installation should look like and how a stereo system should sound like. sam said it sounds good i told him I know thats why brought back so u can maybe learn how to take care of customers who pay u good money and you goys lie and ripp off . $3000 dollars this thieves took from me . I will try post

Fu♤king crooks Dennis will steal your wallet. They will quote a price with no model numbers or details. Just so you can not check if it is a fair price. Just bad people.

Bought my first Viper alarm from here this past weekend. It works great and I got the one where I can use my IPhone, best thing ever. I really like this company. I would recommend family, friends anyone to visit this place for all your alarm needs.

Took my son in to get a radio and speakers for his new truck. Advanced stereo has the best prices compared to many other stereo shops. The sales guy also gave me a deal on the labor and parts to install the radio. Great shop, great customer service. Will return with my next car.

Dennis is by far the best sales person i've ever dealt with. He was not pushy, didn't try to sell me unnecessary stuff, and stayed within my budget. I would shop here again and I would most definitely tell others about this place. When you go in ask for Dennis.

Went in a few weeks ago to get a radio I had installed in my Honda. The sales guy Levi was very helpful and showed me what parts I would need in order to do the install. They told me every thing up front which I like. I hate those places that they take your car to the back and they tell you all these things you need when you really don't need them. I would recommend this place to my family friends anyone. They are fair and honest.

Best customer service I've ever had. I love this stereo shop. I went in and got a Viper pager alarm installed. I love the alarm so much. I'm going back to get my boyfriend one for his birthday next month. Thank you Sam!!
