Several years ago I was looking for an art school that could help me build a good portfolio for collage. I had tried two schools; they both ended up wasting my time. They both talked about how great they were at getting students into good art schools. It all sounded very good, but just as they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. And it was. They were dishonest about what I needed for a portfolio. They pushed expensive classes a lot. After quitting the second school I was lost as what to do. Talking to someone at school about my problem, they told me about an art school that was helping them. I had nothing to loose, but to go talk to them. It was very refreshing to find an art school that told me the truth about what I really needed. There was no hype, no lies. They were simple, up front and did not charge an arm and a leg for there program. The Fine Art Center delivered. My portfolio helped me get accepted by all four schools I applied to. I whole hardly recommend the Fine Art Center, a small honest, down to earth school that really cares about its students. Thank you again; I will never forget how you helped me.

Because we like this art school so much, we though we should let others know about it.The Fine Art Center has been around for a long time, but not that many people know about it. It’s like a rare gem you find amongst rocks. It is a small art school and the owner told me he likes it that way. These are his exact words, “It gives me great pleasure teaching a subject I love so much. I don’t make much money from this school, I don’t need to. I have done very very well in other areas of art.” In deed, this is a very well run school where kids and adults learn art. The teachers show a lot of interest in teaching as well as making it a lot of fun. My three boys have been coming to the school for about three years. They love it and two of my boys have earned first places in several art contests. I highly recommend this school to anybody who wants to learn to draw or paint and have a lot of fun doing it. Truly a great place. The only problem I see is he does not promote very much. More people need to know about it.
My daughter has been going to the Fine Art center for about 8 years. I have several friends who have their kids enrolled in other art school in the valley. After hearing and seeing what my daughter has done at the Fine Art Center, every one of them dropped the schools they were enrolled in and came over to the Fine art Center. They thank me all the time for telling them about the Fine Art Center. The school is small and run by a gentleman who truly cares about kids and teaching art. One of my friends was so impressed by the quality of work my daughter has produced; she enrolled in their adult class. I never thought about drawing myself until I saw some of the work my friend was making. Now I think I will join her and learn how to draw. An outstanding and honest school that is more about people that about making money.
