Hot Iron Mongolian Grill

Not only do they usually burn the food, but the staff are jerks. I'm sorry. but every time I come in, the cooks are always cocky and the waitresses forget everything, all I asked was for three ice waters. I ended up going back there and making them myself.. I was a waitress and I know how crazy things can get but seriously. I went in with my boyfriend and mom, and my boyfriend likes to really stack his bowl, and he got up and the kid started making remarks about how he put the noodles on top instead of on bottom. he's like "I should just let people's food sit here and burn." I actually liked the people from blue fire. I hate the music they play, the atmosphere is like it's trying to be a high fashion restaurant. I just hate this place.

This place is just uh-mazingggg. Finally a good all u can eat spot in Monroe with awesome food. Best part is you get free frozen yogurt at the end with peanuts!

Food is awesome, as is the service. Tons of selection of meats and vegetables, and all you can eat is always a plus with me!

Really enjoyed this place. Food was excellent... Had a huge selection of sauces which were all really tasty. Staff was friendly and the environment was fun. Definitely will be returning here soon

I work next door and this place always smells so good. They have great customer service and food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good Mongolian grill :)

this restaurant has something for everyone. you choose everything from the meat to the veggies, noodles, sauces. It's fun to try something different each time. My kids who don't like many veggies can stick to carrots if they want. You can get in and out with not too much of wait.
Vegetarians can get a good variety. It is well priced and you can eat a lot for $10.

This place. YUM! Finally somewhere I can go for inexpensive, quality eats.



The best part about Hot Iron is the control. You get to put whatever (and however much) of all the different ingredients in a food mix of flavor explosion! Not only does this give you unlimited choices and variety, but you get to SEE what goes into the meal.



I like to experiment with a lot of different combinations and this makes for an endless and inexhaustible list of possible dishes.



Want something nutty? Throw some peanuts on top. More into classic Asian? Anybody say Teriyaki?



My point is: Go here. And see what you can make. You'll be very very satisfied :)

The best deal in town. I go to this place every time go over the pass on route 2 and it hits the spot. You get to put as much meat you want to in the bowls: chicken, beef, pork, prawns, and squid. Service is genuinely fast since the new owner and my kids love it. there is usually a large table open, making it optimal for large parties going on camping trips!

No employees present when i walked in, filled my bowl, and set it next to the grill... I waited a couple minutes until another customer walked in, found a dirty bowl and went to get someone. Then the cook burned my food, mixed it with the customer's next to mine and dropped quite a few large pieces! Won't be returning...

GROSS! Not just an off night the first time we went there but it WORSE on the second visit! KIDS run the place and it looks, feels and tastes like it! Everything is STICKY, the chair backs, seats and even the legs! The table was sticky, the HIGHCHAIR top to bottom and even the FLOOR - my shoes were sticking to it! HEALTH DEPARTMENT needs to visit this place!



BRING BACK BLUE FLAME because this new ownership SUCKS!

The meat was not frozen shaved, it has been out long enough to THAW!

They only keep a small amount of veg out and it all looked a bit wilted and past the point of being good to eat.



Our first dinner there was not as bad as our second time (which we didn't stay for).

The guy at the grill, when he finally appeared, looked to be in highschool, had no clue what he was doing, emptied the bowl onto the grill and dosed it with way too much water and burned the meat onto the grill. He had 6 bowls going at the same time in piles and ended up mixing a few of them. I found seafood in my dinner, and all I had was chicken and veggies to start with. A REAL Mongolian Grill works the food AROUND THE GRILL, keeping the food moving. There are several cooks at most other restaurants of this type for a reason, GET A CLUE.



Instead of standing around, chatting, your staff needs to CLEAN, using clean rags, water and SOAP. That grill is not vented properly so everything is getting coated in GREASE YUCK!



As long as it is Iron Grill, WE WON"T BE BACK! YOU FAILED TO MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION DURING YOUR SECOND CHANCE, YOUR STAFF IS RUDE, LAZY AND UNTRAINED. WHAT A SHAME!

My family and j loved to eat the old Mongolian grill. So we decided to try hot iron today. It was disgusting and slow! The boys making the food over cooked our food and we rude/no personality! We paid for two buffets and we both only ate half of the food and instantly felt sick. Definitely will NOT be returning to this location
