- Village Oak Veterinary Hospital was designed to serve two functions. First, as a general practice, Village Oak has been providing quality pet care in the Modesto area since the summer of 2001. Second, as a referral practice, we are able to provide specialty level medicine to the Central Valley of California. We feel our clients and patients benefit greatly from the services of both practices. Whether visiting us for general medicine, or seeing our Boarded Specialists in Dermatology, Radiology, Surgery, or Acupuncture, we are committed to exceeding our client's expectations for care and service. We have a complete line of pet care products and specialty diets, with staff trained to help you meet your pets needs. If finances are a concern, please ask us about Care Credit.

My husband and I moved to Modesto a few months ago and were in need of a new vet for our three dogs. I drove past Village Oak and thought I would give them a call. From the first conversation on the phone with the receptionist I knew this was going to be a great fit. The girl I spoke to was very friendly and outgoing and truly seemed to care about my "kids". That great care followed thru the entire hospital at our first visit. The technicians are super and Dr. Fitzpatrick was just wonderful. I now have all 3 of my pets established with them and I can not say enough good things about them. Thank you Village Oak!
When Dr. Kline retired I was very worried who could take his place. Dr. Fitzpatrick has cared for my pets for the last 10 years and I couldnt be happier. I have never had a visit to Village Oak that I did not receive an estimate of the recommended services that I could either accept or decline. I am happy, my pets are healthy and I hope Dr. Fitz doesn't retire for a long time!
If you love your pets like children, this is the place to go!! I have been going there for almost 10 years. Having one Pug with Diabetes and another with cancer, they have put me on the best treatment plan for my pet and my budget. I put my trust in Village Oak Vets & Staff. They always recommend whats BEST for my pets and go above and beyond. My pets are like children to me and I do whatever it takes to make sure they are taken care of. This is why I trust Village Oak for all my pets needs!! I know they treat my pets as if they are there own.
BEWARE of this vet they are horrible we spend over 700.00 in two days with a cat that couldnt be helped anyways without the proper medication that we found out when we had to take him to another vet and have him put down last night. All they want is your money and dont care about your animals and when we told them that we couldnt afford to bring him in every day like they wanted at that point they no longer wanted to help us. Infact we are about to take them to court and sue them now. The veternarian in Escalon Dr Frank Hagan is a way better vet and they actually seem to care about your animals and arent in it for the money. Stay away from this veternarian office unless you like getting told the wrong information and getting ripped off they are only out for your money.
Dr Kline and staff have earned a 5 ***** star rating.Dr Kline started his practice in the late 60's, with Sue as his only vet tech.Glad to say, they're both still a kickin'. Perchance, Dr Kline may not be as spry as he once, time marches on, but his love of animals has not changed. He is the only Vet I've used, or would consider using. Oh, I know Dr Kline has retired and Dr Kirkpatrick tends our animals now, he has the same loving, caring and devoted seriousness, that earmarked Dr Kline's quiet and confident professional manner. He has been a fixture in the community. We are lucky to have him. That is a sliver of why I think Doc Kline and all the members of his clinic and Vet Hospital are the very best- I adore them!!

I have been a client for maybe as long as 8 years, a long time, my Sophie pup is 11 years old and has had numerous issues over the years. All of which were treated with the best sense of professionalism and care as if she were one of their own pets. It feels like home walking in, from phone calls, to visits, to surgery, convenient hours, to those much loved follow up calls......5-star care from this facility. Dr.Fitzpatrick is our primary doc, but would trust anyone there with my baby girl. You get what you pay for and the people there are rare and caring folks. Love this facility! It's the best in the community.

We love Village Oak!!! We have been taking our Sophie there for about 7 years I think! Everyone so nice and they actually care! Very clean and professional! We love Doctor Fitzpatrick!!!! Our dog has had a few surgeries here and they were absolutley wonderful through everything!!! A little pricey but it pays in the long run of getting the run around from other vets!!!

With prices a little higher than comfortable, village oak falls short of five stars. That said, you get what you pay for, and I'm willing to pay a premium for doctors I trust. Never have I had an unprofessional visit, or even a dismissive glance from the front desk. Techs, receptionists and doctors alike have always exhibited a high standard of care and concern, complete with follow up calls, and a few extra minutes if you need them.
There are some doctors at the facility that I don't personally click with, but personal friends sing their praises to the rafters- even if I choose not to deal with them, they're just the right vet for someone else, and each professional there brings expertise to the table that can only be good for my pets.
After years of sub par care from other veterinary hospitals, and shoddy care from doctors who either don't have the time or the training, I feel lucky to have found someplace that really takes care of my family. You could almost say it's like winning the lottery (and maybe if I did, I could afford the care a little easier). A great clinic with a great staff.
Expect the best.
