- How Can We Finish The Great Commission? The mission commission of Trinity United Presbyterian Church strives to facilitate the calling of the Lord Jesus on the lives of Christians in the carrying out of the Great Commission. Our commitment is to do everything possible to send out those who are responding to the call of planting., watering, and harvesting. Our assistance may take the form of full-time missions, short-term activities, home-front support of prayer and / or finances, or efforts not normally thought of as missions. We thank God for a stirring of His people to get involved in missions outreach. He is choosing individuals to enter into a variety of activities that play a role in the mandate to take the gospel to every nation or people group of the world. Our God is a missionary God! He longs to give all people an opportunity to be part of His family. This will only be completed as we, His Church, obey His command in Mark 16... as we take the Good news of Jesus Chri st to "every creature" and establish strong, evangelical churches throughout the world. To see this happen, we challenge you and the misitries of TUPC to work together with the aim to finish the Great Commission! Trinity United is a leading church supporter of local missions in the Modesto area, both financially, and in hands-on mission work. We send High School and College students out on "Short-Term Summer Missions" and teams of both youth and adults regularly on mission trips.
