Founded in 1992, the Stanislaus County Police Activities League is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of recreational, educational, cultural and social programs for youths. It offers programs for individuals between the ages of 6 and 18 in Stanislaus County in California. The league serves more than 5,000 people per month. The Stanislaus County Police Activities League maintains over 25 sites throughout the county. Its parks programs include tutoring, outdoor recreation, field trips, summer lunches, and arts and crafts. The league also provides a youth scholarship program with opportunities to participate in dance classes and soccer and football leagues. The Stanislaus County Police Activities League is a part of the Police Activities League, which has nearly 300 law enforcement agencies throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.
