Ridgway's Restaurant & Lounge

I will admit the food is great.

What I think of the staff and owner is another story.

I have been going to Ridgways for over 20 years now and know all of the original staff that is still working there.

On my last visit however I have to rethink ever going back.

Listening to the tall gal that's been there forever talking about the manager giving a new girl, who happens to be her grandaughter all of the big tippers! I was shocked to hear it, not only have those two known each other for over 25 years but I have never seen such anger and lack of respect in my life. I may expect that of a teenager, maybe, but not from this grown woman.

At the time I could plainly see that the manager could hear what this waitress was saying, if I could I'm sure everyone else could.

Then from the bar comes the owner who if the man had to smile I'm afraid his face would crack, gives the manager a look of such hatred.

I feel so sorry for this woman who has been at Ridgways for so mnay years to face and have to deal with these people who obviously were not brought up right.

I know what it's like to have to keep working and being elderly. I cannot afford not to work. I feel for this woman and realize she probably puts up with this horrible situation because she has no choice.

I say shame on all of you, the owner and that waitress.

After writing this review I have decided not to go back to Ridgways again. My entire family and church frequent Ridgways and you can bet on the fact that I WILL let them know just how disrespectful the staff and owner are to such a loyal emplyee.
