My Grandfather is very well taken care of here! After moving from San Jose to Merced a year ago, my wife and I toured a number of assisted living facilities looking for just the right one for mom. I was impressed with both the home-like atmosphere and the professionalism of staff right from the very start. Mom stayed there for nearly 6 months before her health declined to the point where she had to be moved to a skilled nursing facility. While at Orangeburg Manor, however, mom was well cared for. Room accommodations met her basic needs, and her medication management was handled properly. The staff treated her with respect and dignity at all times. Miriam, the staff administrator, did an excellent job balancing the needs of mom with the many requests of her family. She is kind, patient and caring. Mom loved her stay there, and our family highly recommends Orangeburg Manor to anyone searching for an assisted living facility here in the Valley.
