I've been going to Nino's, on the average 2 times a month for the last 4 years. It's had its ups and downs with management changes, but since the new owners took over- its been nothing less than a great place to go! If you like live music, they've been bringing in different bands every weekend - mostly rock and roll. There is no cover charge when the bands play, which is a plus. When weather permits, the bands play outside on a nicely done patio (great atmosphere). There are 2 pool tables (if you like pool , like me) and it's only 50 cents a game! The crowd age ranges from 21 to 50's + so i'd call it a somewhat mellow and friendly crowd. I am not a biker.... but have had no problems with the bikers who go there. They seem respectful of others and are actually very ""mellow"" unless you mess with them when they're drunk. Out of all the times i've been there, I've only seen a couple fights, and these were quickly taken care of by fast acting bouncers. To sum it up: if you like live rock and roll and a great atmosphere, you really need to check this place out.

For the person who posted the negitive comments at nino's. You must really have been drunk or you were not paying attention to what happened with the ""BRAWL"". The so-called innocent people were not as innocent as they portrayed themselves to be. They are the trash, not the Skeleton Crew or their girlfriends. Or the bartender and her boyfriend. Maybe this so called innocent person should have kept her hands to her self and her mouth closed. I was there that night and I happened to see all. Had a front row seat!!!! And in all honesty, the innocent ones are the ones that you seem to want to talk about. I am glad that Linda and Paul have taken over the bar, I do miss Jim and Carol!!!! But the ones that started the fight were not the bikers and their girlfriends but the ones that like to sleep around or try to come on to men that are taken. I am glad that they have been 86'd. We dont need trouble like that in our house!!!! We love the bikers and their girlfriends. We love the bartenders and their significant others. And everyone wants to have a good time out there. The bands are fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! NINOS PLACE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to get jumped by trashy broads & the bad ""bikers"", you should frequent this place! I'm a biker myself, but the decent type! I saw 3 innocent people get jumped by the Skeleton Crew gang-member's & their girlfriends on 5/30/08. The place is horrible & being under new ownership with Linda & Paul, the place is becoming the ""biker bad bar"" it used to be! It was a fun place to hang out until it went under new ownership. Linda sided with the trashy peoply & tried 86'ing the innocent people minding their own business! Even the bar hired bar help were starting fights with innocent people! The outside bar-tender & her ""boyfriend"" were the start of the drama. If you're into getting jumped & surrounded by multiple trashy people, Nino's is the place to be! This Place is The Trashiest in the area! This place needs to get shut down & bulldozed! The bad trouble-making people out number the decent people & seem to want to run them out. I saw all that went down that Friday night & will never go there again to witness a bar-room brawl! Cops were everywhere & the trouble makers were not removed from the place. STAY AWAY FROM NINO'S! Nightly drink specials?? You mean, nightly Bar-Fights were innocent people get Jumped! No Thanks! Poor Management of a once OK place!!

If you go to Nino's once you'll be back. Friendly people of all types, good music, and pitchers of watermelon kamakazees. Changing owners in June '08. Therre is happy hour, outdoor pool tables, parking for bikers, and the best rock n roll bands around. Bands on the patio all year. Patio is enclosed with heaters in the winter. You won't want to miss the fun.

Nino's IS the place to go in Modesto. It most DEFINITELY is Biker Friendly - AGAIN..... ASK A BIKER!! Agreed there was a period of time that one of the ""managers"" at the time felt it necessary to discourage bikers from coming in - BUT - it HAS returned to the good ole' Nino's it use to be - Come Back - you will find everything you found before and more!!! Lot's more - including cook your own STEAK NIGHT EVERY Tuesday - with all the trimmings - and killer Steaks - AND MUSIC.
It's a ""singles place"", a ""couples"" place, a ""biker bar"", a ""neighborhood bar"", a ""Cheers"" kinda place - If you got discouraged because of the 'changes' that happened - it's changed BACK - AND BIKERS and non-bikers ARE welcome - you missed Biker Appreciation Day 2 Saturday's ago - but there will be more!!!!
Why would the parking lot ALWAYS be busy - do you know ANY other place that is CONSISTENTLY busy!!!

No longer a biker friendly. Note the sign on the door that says management reserves the right to judge your dress attire and throw you out if she feels the need. Lawsu!t waiting to happen....any takers?? Forget all the get rich quick scemes, this is a sure win-win for all.

Dive bar, neon lights, dirt parking lot, great bands and great mix of people. You have your karaoke a few nights a week and live band three nights a week. When the weather is nice the band plays out on the patio and then the place rocks. If you want to stay away from downtown this is the place you want to go.
