I came in to get one of my sibling's tests checked and it was not a pleasant experience. The clerk in the front acted as if she did not want to help us at all. Her name was Connie. She assumed that I was underage and asked if there was a parent present. When I told her that I was watching my siblings because my parents were out of town, she sighed and acted as if it was a burden to help us. I don't know if it was a racial thing because we are Indian and she's Hispanic or if she thought we were just there to give her (Connie) a hard time. I work in health care also, and I would not be treating anyone as if they were lower than me, especially when it comes to Medical services. There was also a trainee there, I don't know if she was supposed to show him "how it's handled," but it was not at all professional. I will not be coming back here. I was shown that racial discrimination is present, and I was shown what not to do while working in a medical facility.
