We are long time customers, since Richland. Today, we visited your store and purchase a few items, maybe more and noticed there were few customers in line and lane #1 was emptied and decided to check out there. Well, it turned out that it is any the cashier was angry because we had more than the "about 15 items" besides been rude he didn't place our groceries in the basket. Customer service must not be his priority.
I was at the store on Yosemite in Modesto on Saturday evening, 01/31....when I witnessed the manager, Louis yelling at his employee in public. Apparently a customer lost her car keys and asked the employee for help and it didn't set well with the manager. The customer tried to explain to the manager that his employee was helping....but the manager would have no part of it....and ordered the employee back to his office. The customer ended up leaving the store crying. Anyway, I went back tot he office where I found the manager continuing to yell and belittle the employee.....and asked for the corporate number. The manager appears to have some anger issues and it is scary that he is even allowed to act this way. BTW.....while asking about it to other employees, I discovered that the manager has a habit of treating them that way....so it was not an isolated incident.
