Afshin Bidgol

If you are looking for a dentist who has a gentle hand and takes pride in his work, then Dr. Bidgol is who you should see. Before Dr. Bidgol I had been though many traumatic dental experiences. Then I met Dr. Bidgol. He is an amazing dentist and really takes the time to ensure you receive the quality work and care you deserve. A detail oriented and honest dentist that cares more about the patient and providing them with the best care possible than he cares about the money. With Mindy at the front desk who is always helpful and professional and Dr. Bidgol who is a great dentist that does great work. You won't be disappointed! And they accept medi-cal! I only wish I would have found them sooner.

Called last week for an appt. The front desk receptionist (Mindy) told me they had a Wednesday at 10:15 available. I was shocked as that was only a week away. So I happily agreed and set appt. Well today at 10:15 I arrived for set time. Mindy was in the phone so I waited. Told her my name and time of appointment. And she looked at me like I was insane saying "she has never heard my name before and she is the only one who schedules. So I proceeded to tell her our conversation. She said "how did you find this office?" "Are you sure you made an appt?" I started to get upset, I took time off work for this nonsense. Then she found my name in her book for 2 weeks later. Which I would've been fine just calling it human error, or even miscommunication. But she was so rude and proceeded to say "I'll just cancel that appt" I said "no" write it down on a card and I'll be back in February. She said hold on, walked in the back and came back with a card of new appointment. I walked out. Well today at 4:50pm the Afshin Bidgol called and said he doesn't know what happened with my appointment. I told him no worries mistakes happen. Then he told me he couldn't see me as a patient!!! I was shocked. I have 4 kids and work in the healthcare field. Never have I once been refused service over a mistake a receptionist made. I wasn't rude/disrespectful or derogatory to either one of them. So I did ask why, and he said he just feels that we couldn't have a "doctor patient relationship" I told him I would reporting this to various sites due to the lack of common courtesy, manners, and respect his office staff showed me. Let me explain something yes I do have obamacare, but I also work 2 jobs, pay taxes and pay for any medical treatments my family needs. To be treated so poorly is an example of their ignorance. I hope they realize their behavior is not okay. Treat others how you would want to be treated! Simple!
