- Baxter Mobile Home Transport, Inc is a family owned business that has been transporting mobile and manufactured homes for over 15 years. Customer service is our number one goal! We are here to make the process of moving your home as stress free as possible. We pride ourselves in safely transporting your home from point A to point B. We transport all over the state of California as well as Nevada, Arizona and Oregon. Transporting your home is not the only service we provide here at Baxter Mobile Home Transport, Inc. We are a one stop shop when it comes to your manufactured home needs. We are licensed contractors and provide services to prepare your home for transport as well as set it back up. We also install tie downs, foundations, decks, awnings and skirting. We even haul homes to the dump. We do not subcontract out any of our work, we complete the entire job ourselves from start to finish. Before The Move: We can not express how valuable it is to do a site inspection before entering into a contract with a customer. Here at Baxter Mobile Home Transport, Inc., we consider our service second to none. We inspect both the pick up and delivery sites. We want to make sure that we cover all our bases ahead of time to ensure a smooth transition. We check the site for any possible obstructions on removing the home from the site. We look for trees, fences, gates, low hanging wires, steep hills, narrow driveways, dirt roads, etc. We also take into consideration the weather conditions. Not only do we inspect the property, but we also inspect the home that needs relocation. We look to see if axles and tires are attached to the home. We inspect the integrity of the steel frame of the home. We check to see if the tow bars are there. We inspect your decks, awnings, and any possible added on rooms or expandos. In essence, we determine how big the job is and what will be required to get it done. We educate our customers about the necessary steps in order to relocate the home as well as anything they can do themselves to save money and ensure a safe move. Now that we have seen the job, we then give the customer a bid. We are very precise on our bids due to the fact that we have seen the job and know what it will entail.

We were looking for a company to transport a trailer. Lady on the phone (called 4/14/2016 4:30 PM) Would not even decline to serve but simply hang up, twice!

A simple "No Thank you" would go a long way
Baxter provided us with exceptional service. They moved our home and set it back up all within one week's time. Their staff is very experienced and took great care with our home. I hightly recommend their servcive.
They definitely know what they are doing. I would highly reccomend Baxter Mobile Home Transport if you are in the market to relocated your home. They are very safe and professional!
