Really nice and well maintained RV park with a lot to do. This park is side by side with another and you get to use all facilities of both. My husband loved the large wood working shop and the pool hall. I loved the quilting and sewing room and the heated pool and spa. They use salt water instead of chlorine and it was really nice. They have Wifi to most sites. It got slow if too many got on it but they have direct hookups for your laptop in their business center along with free long distance calling so that was fine with us. The activities were the best of anywhere we have ever stayed. They have weekly dances and entertainers during their high season. Love the managers and the place is as clean as a whistle.
Once you see this RV Park and compare it to others in the area you would stay nowhere else. A lot of other RV Parks in the area have websites that make their parks look much better than they really are; but not this one. The photos you see on their accurately show what the park is really like. It is beautifully maintained, has a very friendly and efficient staff and a recreation hall that is famous throughout the Rio Grande Valley for its size and quality of entertainment. The heated salt water pools are really nice as is the pool hall and exercise room. The dog run is a plus for those who have dogs. We enjoyed the free Wifi and long distance calls they give you.
My husband and I stayed at Mission Gardens all last winter. It was the fourth winter that we spent in south texas. Every park that we stayed at in past winters was very nice, but Mission Gardens is our favorite. The park is very clean and well kept, the other guests are wonderful, and the staff is very helpful. Our children (all grown and grey now) are joining us at Mission Gardens next winter.
