Overall

A fortune for very mediocre results. Not worth it at all. Too bad, it's my neighborhood, I'll fly to New York and waste the money on air fair before I'd go back....and that's not a joke. Money it too hard to come by these days...why pay silly amounts something so-so at best?

The staff offered me a beverag...

The staff offered me a beverage, which was nice. However, the quality of my brow wax was terrible. Both of my brows had a nice shape before going and just needed a clean-up. When I got to good lighting in my car, each eyebrow had a different shape than my original and the two did not match. There were many missed hairs on the left side and both were unbalanced. I am celebrating my 1 year wedding anniversary in NYC this week and am embarrassed by my brows. Will have to wear my shades the whole time. Bummed.

Hello, my name is Gretchen. For the last 20 years I have served the north and western metro as a hairstylist, colorist and hair extensions artist. I love what I do! It was nice to be back at Rue 48 in Minneapolis, meeting with Dawn, after being several months overdue for a haircut and color! Rue 48 did a great job of helping me to feel safe during these strange times, keeping surfaces clean, wearing masks and gloves, and ensuring ample space between clients and staff. As usual, my hair color and trim turned out really well, and once again, I feel more myself. Thank you Dawn and Rue 48!

Jessi Coker (she/her) is new to Minnesota! She recently moved to Duluth with her wife and kids. She has been a licensed massage therapist, specializing in full body relaxation for the last 4 years. Jessica was also a master esthetician in the state of Washington for 8 years and is pursuing an Advanced Practice Esthetician license here in Minnesota. Along with massage and facials, Jess is also available for full body waxing. Jessi's goal as a personal services provider is to ensure that every client feels comfortable, safe and welcome in her treatment room and always leaves feeling better, inside and out.

Suzanneâ€™s thirst for knowledge has provided her with some amazing opportunities. In 2014 she refined her hair cutting skills by attending advanced training at the Sassoon Academy, Chicago. On top of her exceptional cutting and coloring services, Suzanneâ€™s true passion is skin care. Her skin care journey started in 2012 when she began learning and mastering Avedaâ€™s facials, facial products and rituals. Due to her new-found passion and drive, she had the privilege of training with the former owner of Christal Center for Wellness. Her apprenticeship gave her the knowledge to carry on the signature healing skin treatments that were offered here in Canal Park. Suzanneâ€™s specialized healing facial treatments address and nurture such issues as aging, pigmentation, and acne.
