This place was easy to find. It's small and it was my first time there (Labor Day). I didn't know what to expect with service or the food. First, the service was great and the food was delicious. I ordered the combo (ribs, shoulder, tips) dinner with mild sauce. The meat was very tender and juicy and the sauce made me lick my fingers (LOL). The combo dinner was reasonable ($15 - 16) and I GOT A LOT OF MEAT FOR THE PRICE. GO TO ASHLEY'S IF YOU WANT SOME FINGER, LICKING, GOOD BARBEQUE ! I really mean it! The barbeque was absolutely off the chain - Fantastic !

We were there almost every night while in Milwaukee for the 105th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson. The wings are smoked in Applewood and have to be the best I've ever had. The ribs are smoked in Hickory. The people are friendly and it's a fun place to be. Debbie, the owner and Gary the Chef are wonderful people. I highly recommend this, out-of-the-way location. The prices are reasonable as well. I can't say anything more but you have to visit them. You won't be sorry.
I've been to steakhouses all over the Midwest, and I must say Carnevor by far has the best meat. The ribeye I had was pure heaven! Best atmosphere too. It's not your traditional sleepy, boring steakhouse. The atmosphere is fresh, chic, and full of energy. The servers are very knowledgeable. The wine list is also very impressive. If you haven't been, it's a definite must, you won't be disappointed.
