I was there recently and was not overly impressed. I was with a large group and they (yen ching) seemed annoyed by us. They were rude and the food was unimpressive. They got especially pushy when it was time to close and we were just finishing and needed the bill. I don't recommend this resturaunt.

This place is great. since its close to my work place and where i live i go here at least once a week. Lunch is cheaper than our cafeteria :). However the food is fantastic. I go here every Friday since they have the hot and sour soup on Fridays for lunch. the egg drop soup is also great. I love the twice cooked pork as it is spicy than the rest.
For dinner the hot braised fish is great. Their fried rice is also good to try out sometimes (they don?t put a lot of soy source like other Chinese places). The best is their secret hot source. Apparently this is a recipe of the first owner (grand father of the current owners) which has been passed down to them :)

this is our favorite chinese in all of Milwaukee. Excellent Hot and Sour Soup. Most entrees are good. My wife loves the Buddist Delight - vegan dish. Service is prompt if a bit stilted. Place is almost always full. Never have had a bad meal here. Highly recommended

this restaruant was the first chinese restaurant I've tried just because they said they were serving korean noodle dish. It was horrible. I had to get rid of it as soon as I tried. I am not sure about other cuisine they serve there but my first impression due to that incident was not good at all.
