Weatherization Services LLC

We chose to have Weatherization Services complete insulation, air sealing, and install a continuous run fan in our home as part of the Me2 program. We chose them because their prices were much lower than other contractors. Well, you get what you pay for. The work was all "completed" in one day and the guys were friendly to me, despite some arguing amongst the crew. When we had our energy consultant return to check their work, he found several problems that needed resolving. The worst was that they didn't install a timer to cycle the continuous run fan - I suppose it was just expected that I leave it on all the time? The timer was in their proposal but they didn't mention it not being installed until I brought it up. I was on the phone with them many, many times trying to get the issues resolved. They came out a total of five times before our consultant was satisfied. I would never recommend them.

Last Spring Weatherization Services insulated my attic and a basement crawlspace. I noticed a huge difference during the Summer months in that my house was cooler. Now that it is Winter, I am also noticing a huge difference in the warmth of my home. My hvac units dont work nearly as hard as they used to and my energy bills have been reduced enough to offset the cost of the insulation work. TOTALLY worth every penny!

We just had Weatherization Services out yesterday and already we are feeling the results of the work they did in just one day with adding more insulation! The crew did a detailed job and covered everything with us when we returned home. They also did a great job with clean-up. Thanks so much! We can't wait to see the results this winter on our utility bill!
