The service is terrible the food is not good and expensive-$15.00 for a burger with fries and drink is crazy! The machines pay out but you have to wait till the next day to get the money. If you win you can afford to eat and oh -the drinks are outta line too, $4.00 a bottle of beer and make sure you get your change-they like to short you.

We went there for a fish fry on a friday night. I've read some posts below, and I have to disagree! We had one of the best waitresses I have ever had! She has so many recomindations for us! We ate a fish fry and drank bloody marys. Not only was the fish fry perfect, the bloodies were fantastic! They came with a sausage stick and tasted great! Later that night at 9pm, there was a live band! We didn't even know there was going to be a band that night, and they were awesome! We were only going there for dinner, and ended up staying till bar close listening to the band and playing darts! Overall, this was one of the best places around, and we will go back every week possible!

This bar may be clean but we have been there 4 times too many. The younger bartenders are rude, make you wait 10mins unless your a local, even if there are only a few people at the bar. Aside from the attitude, the food takes a while and is a hit or miss. We are very disappointed by the waitstaff and by the fact that even though they have messed up our food orders everytime, we get no apologies or reason. Just a take it or leave it. Its very sad...the fish fry was more expensive than others around and not the best either.
My Husband and I went there for their "fish fry" on a Friday, I have to say upon walking in I noticed the Staff, mainly behind the Bar was very slow and seemed to have a strange attitude. After we finally recieved our pre-dinner drinks, my Husband was already thinking why did we come here, we ordered from the poor girl who had way to many tables to wait on and recieved our "food" in about 25 minutes. We ordered fish filets which were full of bones, we said something to the waitress and in about a minute a woman we later found out was the owner played down the situation about the bones and small portions and did not offer any resolution, she almost acted like she was intimidating us, we have never seen anything like it! We left half our food and walked out, but made sure to leave at least something for the waitress. There was also a gentelman sitting at the bar and we saw them call the Greenfield Police on him for drunking driving, we clearly heard him ask if he could leave his car or get a taxi to no avail, We are still so shocked we will never consider going to "That Place" again!

This was our first time here and it was great, a real bargain and plenty to eat. The beer was very fresh, perfectly chilled, and the fish was very tasty and fresh. Service was outstanding, and the overall atmosphere is real nice. Would highly recommend for any family or a just a new place to try. Great Experiance !!!

This place is awesome, the food was great, the service was great and overall had good prices. Some drinks were high, but were made well. The only con was the parking. Due to the amount of people being in the bar, it was hard to find a spot, but after finding, had a great time and was worth the wait. The bartenders did an awesome job. The lady was very friendly and sparked conversation with me even though the bar was packed! Awesome job guys!!!

Grainger's is a bar that brings in a lot of bad elements from the nearby southside of milwaukee. It's main problem is location. As for the staff, you'll wait a consierable amount of time to be helped. Plus, they are not very good at giving change, so watch that. Overall I give this place a D. lots of room for improvement
I recently had a party there and although the owner was awesome to work with, the only time he helped me was when I booked the party. The rest of the time I was being 'helped' by different people, and nobody knew what was going on. Im young and when I talked to one of the managers in particular, she talked to me extremely rude as though I didnt know what I was doing. The day of the party nobody greeted me, nobody checked if everything was fine or if we needed anything, and when we questioned the bill we got nothing but attitude. The hall is beautiful, the neighborhood is different, but I dont like rude people, and because of the attitudes of one of the managers, I will never do business there again, nor will I refer people to go there.

The food here is awesome, best fish ever! Wish I could say the same for the bartenders. They are somewhat lazy, rude and unfriendly. Otherwise it's a great place. Lots to do, games, darts, pool and a great jukebox.
This is a fantastic neighborhood Tavern in the Old Greenfield Town Hall located at the corner of Loomis Rd and Howard Av, Great place to hang out...Wonderful Grill, Great food...good people
