That you will NEVER regret eating here. The food is top-notch as is the service, and you'll feel like you've walked into a castle in Germany. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. There is a reason this is a high "must-eat" place for when celebrities come to Milwaukee, and you'll see hundreds on the walls of the restaurant. Over the summer, my husband and I ate at a table where Jack Benny sat in 1966 - and I play the violin! We were there this past Sunday for brunch, and met the delightful Chef Gray, who was a DELIGHTFUL man and made our great experience - well, he was the cherry on our sundae. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. DO NOT MISS THIS.

I am of German descent and grew up with German grandparents. Contrary to the people with the timing issues, Mader's has been the best on timeliness, quality, and food that reminds me of grandma's German cooking. I love Mader's Sauerbraten with a good Franischkaner. Das schmecht das aber gut!
