Anyone who needs auto body work done can stop looking. West Allis Auto Body at 8808 West National does a great job for an appreciably less amount of money. The economy being the way it is nowadays people are keeping their cars for as long as they can. My 1999 Grand Caravan has 150,000 miles on but is still running great. The problem was the rusted rear wheel well. I had an ugly spot about the size of a grapefruit that really took away from the appearance of the van. It was rusted almost all the way through so the metal had to be replaced. I have always thought MAACO was the place to go if you wanted a car painted cheaply. After going to two of their franchises in the area, both of their quotes were in the high 400 dollar range. These quotes were just to fix the rust spot, not to paint the whole car. I decided to go to YellowPages.com to hopefully find someplace a little cheaper. I wrote down three places, with West Allis Auto Body being the first on my list. I didn't have to go any further. The price quoted me was 318.80. Fully $170 cheaper than the other two quotes. The owner ( I think he was the owner, I wish I could remember his name ) who gave me the quote was laid back and friendly. I was told my van would be ready in two days and it was right on the button. The area that was fixed looked showroom new, plus the van was washed. If you can get over the fear of not having an estimate written up ( I told you he was laid back ) this is the place to go. P.S I'm sure if you asked, he would write up an estimate for you.

After discovering some "parking lot surprise" damage to our Honda Civic during a special event visit to Milwaukee from our home in Ohio, friends & family recommended WestWay Autobody. The damage was slight, but involved exterior lighting damage/alignment, and we were concerned about the vehicle's legal roadworthiness for our trip home. We expected difficulty having a small repair completed on short notice, but this time it was WestWay's turn to surprise us. We dropped the car early Thursday morning, and were told it would be ready by 5pm Friday. [Yeah - right, I thought, wondering how much another night or two at the hotel would set me back.] When I returned to WestWay at 4:30 Friday afternoon, owner Mike Maloney tossed me the keys and quipped in his gravelly voice, "Where the [blazes] you been? It was ready at noon!"
I bought a beautiful 2003 Buick Rendavous last Aug....trade a 2004 forenza and paid 3000...I asked about a buzzing noice and was told it was the speakers...no big deal can fix that. Less that 2 weeks later. Never passed emmissions!!! Check Engine light came on...AWD light came on...and front windows stopped functioning....5 disc. Cd player jammed and cds are stuck in player. Frustrated because the number given is never answered and no one seems to ever be there....Final straw!!!! The wires in the doors are all cracked and broken explaining buzzing. He saw me coming!!! I still haven't managed to speak with anyone and its been a year. Sitting here with a great looking car I can't drive. Can't afford to fix it. Is this honest, "awsome" guy willing to trade me a vehicle that runs and can pass emmissions?????
