I have various tattoos mainly done from the same 2 artists in New York. I had trepidations about using a new artist but opted to get a quote from Bailey's Ink. When I first arrived to the shop, I was worried because the shop was under construction; however, Mr. Bailey quickly quelled my concerns. He was very professional and asked appropriate questions. I made an appointment for a few days later to have a family statement placed on my rib cage. Mr. Bailey took the time to draw the tattoo on me...freehand...and it was beautiful. However, due to a deep scar he refused to tattoo this part of my body...and rightfully so. He took the time to explain to me that while I may be happy with the tattoo in the here-and-now in the future, the scar would cause the ink to bleed. He then took over an hour finding a spot on my body that was aesthetically appropriate, respecting that I work in a very conservative environment, and the end result was flawless. His techniques, like his personality, are unique and he is coming into his own as a professional. Since the tattoo has such significant meaning to me, Mr. Bailey also took the time to ask appropriate questions about the meaning...by doing so, he was able to add personal touches relating to my personality into the tattoo...with the flair that only Mr. Bailey can muster. I highly recommend him and I will be going back for more work in the future. I recommended him to my peers, who have scheduled appointments with him for consultation. His prices are attuned to the quality of work.
