Mama Teresa's Italian Restaurant and Pizza
- General Info:
- Center. In 1978 the name was changed to Mama Teresa's, and we have been a family owned and operated business ever since. In the early days it was simply a pizza restaurant. Today we are a complete Italian restaurant, with over a hundred different items to choose from. All of our items are prepared fresh on the premises daily. We strive for quality and perfection, and it shows in our food and services. Mama Teresa's found a new home in 1998 in order to enhance the dining experience for our customers. We are proud to say Mama Teresa's has been a part of Milford for so many years, it is practically considered a marker of their community.

I travel all throughout the state of CT for my job and have explored many italian restaurants in the state. By far, Mama Teresa's restaurant is a favorite of mine. It has a great casual, family atmosphere and they have excellent food. The penne ala vodka, eggplant parmigiana and chicken dishes are some of my favorites. They also have excellent pizza- the crust is perfect and the pizza is cooked through, unlike most places. Great place to bring your family!
this is not a place for someone with OCD , since the plates have things incrusted on them , and me and my mother saw 3 grey hairs on the pizza a few years back. The staff is mean and short , and the teen waiters, and waitresses have attitutudes like dont bother me i wanna text. The pizza itself isnt bad but keep in mind its a dark cold atmosphere.
The owner of this restaurant is extremely rude and uses misleading offers to attract customers. They have been advertising a buy one pizza, get one pizza half off promotion (higher price prevails). They however do not tell you that they will only discount one pizza regardless of the number ordered. When I questioned why only one pizza was discounted on my bill after purchasing 4, I was told that the offer states "some restrictions apply". What was most bothersome was the flip way the owner responded to my questioning the bill. Lets be honest in the same amount of space they could have easily written "only one discounted pie per table". Next time I will go to Reno's in Orange instead - they too have great pizza.
