If you want to experience authentic Mediterranean food that is delicious and affordable this is the place to eat. This is a fast food restaurant that prepares food using only fresh food and quality ingredients. The ambiance and the decor places your mind and spirit in the Mediterranean region providing a spirit of peace and tranquility. The food portions are just right. The hummus is to die for and the falafals are absolutely perfect. I am a vegetarian and the Med Grill makes it easy for me to enjoy healthy, vegan delicious food. The Jerusalem salad, the fetoush salad and the house salad are also excellent choices. The Greek potatoes and the rice are seasoned to perfection as is all the food. The lentil soup is the absolute best. I love everything that I have eaten there. The owner and the general manager have hearts of gold. They frequently volunteer to prepare meals for the homeless community that I volunteer at. If you want to enjoy a healthy affordable meal the Mediterranean Grill is the place to go.
It's hard to find excellent food AND excellent service but this place has got it both. My wife and I are frequent visitors of the Persian restaurants in Sandy Springs with Rumi's being our favorite, but when we stumbled across Sufi's in Buckhead (finally Persian in Buckhead) this really brought it to another level. The atmosphere is amazing and we are always greeted with a very pleasant server. The kabobs are fantastic and one thing in particular that stood out to us was the Sufi's special which I have yet to find at other Persian establishments. The bread with fresh herbs they bring out with the appetizers is phenomenal as well. I look forward to watching this restaurant grow and look forward to our next visit. I've almost tried everything on the menu.
Aviva is one of the best restaurants in Atlanta for fresh and healthy Mediterranean food. It is located inside of Peachtree Center downtown and if you plan to visit for lunch, get there early! The line is always long! My recommendations include the falafel which is perfectly crispy on the outside but nice and soft in the middle. I also recommend the quinoa with tomatoes, squash and spinach and the roasted chicken. And for dessert you cannot leave without the baklava. It is the best Ive EVER had!
