Quilter's Corner

I really enjoy this store! They have a great selection of fabrics, most of which I don't see in other stores. There are wonderful quilts displayed for inspiration. The staff is always friendly and there is no need to rush, they allow you look as long as you want.
This is great small business.

I bought an item from the owner at Quilters Corner for $80. My husband shocked at the price, finds it somewhere else for $43 & we decide to return it. When I brought it back, 5 days later, unopened, with my receipt, the owner would not issue me a refund. She gave me a store credit, but I didn't need anything from her store other than this machine part. We called her back, nicely trying to reach a middle ground on the $40 difference in price. She would not budge on the price, she would not agree to a restocking fee. She was not willing to price match or even meet us in the middle on price. We then went to the store & asked to see her return policy posted. (from what we understand under VA law it must be visible to the customer) She fumbled around and could not find it herself saying it must have gotten moved, they had been cleaning up. She could not produce it herself. We showed her a print out of the VA law stating that it had to be clearly & predominantly visible. She said she knew the law. We left very unhappy customers. We have filed a complaint with the BBB.
