Carter, John DDS

I have spent over 5000 dollars at this office and am not please with their customer service at all. The front desk staff is very disorganized and more concern with their own problems then the patients. I will be looking for another doctor where I will feel my needs are important.

I've been a patient of Dr. Carter's for a number of years and always thought that he and his staff did a great job. It wasn't until he referred me to a specialist recently that I was able to "comparison shop"and realize how truly special his office is. At the other office, I felt like I was part of an assembly line;everyone was pleasant but not very personable. I felt pain (ouch!-not used to that with Dr. Carter) and didn't feel as safe, or well-cared, for as I did in his office. It was after this visit that I realized that I would never stray and that if I was to be referred again, I was taking Dr. Carter with me ;) I had a major mishap with one of my teeth this year that required a lot of time with my "extended family" at his office. It was during this time that I saw how genuine he and his staff were. They truly cared about my needs and made it "all about ME"-love that!

I started seeing Dr Carter and his office staff about 2 years ago. My wife has been seeing Dr Carter for over 27 years. My wife had been after me to switch to Dr Carters office for a couple years and I just thought that there couldnt really be that much difference in dentist office's to bother changing. I was as wrong as I could get about that. After the very first visit I realized that I had been getting the drive thru treatment at my previous dentisit. Dr Carter and his office staff are very warm and professional and are joy to see. I feel like a King when I am there. I never knew that going to the dentist could be such a comfortable experience and the view from the dental chair is awsome!! You are on the 3rd floor of the 555 Building looking towards the Midland Mall. When you are in the chair your feet almost touch the wall and its all glass in front of you, far from feeling like you are in a "office" it really is a neat expereince. I had never been to a dentist office that had nitros oxide avaliable for comfort either so if you need a little extra help in relaxing its there for you. For years I had a big gap in some of my teeth on the side and I knew it every time I smiled and now thanks to Dr Carters incrediable skills and talent its gone and I dont think about it anymore when I smile, I think I smile even more.I feel bad for anyone that doesnt get to enjoy the expereince of going to a dentist thats of the caliber that Dr Carter and his staff are.

My husband has had receding gums for many years and because of the pain associated with having dental work done, he has always been frightened to go to the dentist even to have his teeth cleaned. He breaks out in a sweat and is terrified. However, he did decide to have his front teeth replaced with veneers. He opted to have conscious sedation (which is the ONLY way he could have gotten through it) along with nitrous oxide. He went 3 different days, about 4-8 hours each time, and had 8 top teeth and 6 bottom teeth veneered. Dr. Carter & his staff took such excellent care of him. He didn't feel any pain and his teeth are BEAUTIFUL. No more receding gums. He now says he's my trophy husband, and I have to agree. Dr. Carter is a very talented, caring dentist and his staff is super. Thanks everyone for giving me my trophy husband!!

I was very pleased with the service I received and meeting such happy people is always a good feeling. I do believe that when staff appear to be happy this reflects back on the employer that they are most satisfied with their job which in return makes myself, being the patient feel welcome and relaxed. I feel very fortunate to have picked your office to move forward with my case and look forward to getting to know you all on a more personal level. Again I thank you. I have been a patient of Dr. Carter's for 1 year, but have know him for many more. As a health care professional, myself, I tend to be more critical of the operations of other practices. Dr. Carter and his staff run the best practice of any I have ever seen. It is truly a team approach. From the moment you walk into the suite you feel a sense of welcome and invite. The staff goes the extra mile to accomodate each patient and make them feel at ease. I have had both preventative and restorative work done and the level of professionalism displayed by all staff is superior to none. Add to this a high level of caring and concern and this makes a sometimes unpleasant experience (the dreaded trip to the dentist)not seem unpleasant at all. I highly recommend Dr. Carter and his caring team of dental professionals.
