Best Asian & American Style Buffet In Newport Area..(Sometimes)

Batik Garden Has a Great Comfortable,Casual Atmosphere & Somewhat friendly Staff. The Food Is "Buffet Style" & Is Generally Usually Good. The Variety Of Food Is pretty diverse as well. But depending On When & What Time Of Day Or Nght you go, Can Mean the "Difference" Between a Good Or Great "Food Bufffet Experience" Or "Sometimes" a "So-So" Or Not So good Time to Dine There. Especially If You go When a "Tourist Bus" Arrives. Things Can get "Messy". Or On "Certain" days when it's "Slow", Often Food Trays Are Not "Refilled" Or "Replaced" with Fresh, Or Hot Food. So All In All I think "Batik Garden" Is GOOD & Is Reasonably priced for Its Menu & Variety. But The ONLY Thing It "Suffers" From Is "CONSISTACY" (The Lack There Of).

First time visited we thought lets check out the buffet,it was after 4:40pm,the price was only $9.95.,for adults.
The personal was very friendly and decor was nice Casual dress so just stop in and relax and enjoy.
Best of all the variety of the buffet was WONDERFUL.We had Alaskan Crab all you wanted and they kept refilling the trays.The crab rangoon also delicious,the Lomein dishes very tasty,and rice.Fresh brocoli/beef,,chicken terriaki,steak,,,
Pizza ,great deserts and also ice cream.You just have to go and see all the other items I havn't mentioned.It's been about 5 years now that we stop in and we"are.all ways satisfied .The crab legs are offered at the 4:30,PM serving meal.
Thelocation is about 10 minutes from the Grand NewPort Casino so go on over and try your luck.
