The first time I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, the lobby was cozy and inviting, and I could hear music in the background that instantly put me at ease. I was a little nervous because it was my first professional massage and I was not sure what to expect. The masseuse/owner, Roman, gave me an idea of what to expect, and promised that I would enjoy what was to come. The room where the massage was taking place was already set up for a pregnant woman to comfortably lay on her belly using a supportive and soft pregnancy pillow. The massage table felt like laying on a bed with clean blankets and pillows. The atmosphere of the room was intimate and small, that of a bedroom, complete with a dresser, and various other pieces of bedroom furniture. There was relaxing ocean waves, and tasteful classical music playing softly in the background. The massage itself was amazing to say the least, and besides that he was a good conversationalist and seemed to realize when to talk and when not to talk. I was so relaxed and at ease, that I could close my eyes and imagine I was getting a five star massage at a beach somewhere. My favorite part of the massage was the hot rocks that felt absolutely delicious to my back, which if you ever been pregnant you know is always in pain. The hour seemed to fly by, and I was wished I could have laid there all day long. When it was ended, he gave me a good price deal, and a discount off my next visit, and believe me I did come back.
In conclusion, Bodyworks Spa was an exhilerating and refreshing escape from the stresses of the real world and the pains of pregnancy, and I would recommend this to anyone especially my pregnant friends and already moms out there. Don't be afraid to spend the extra money, you will not ever want another massage from anyone after coming here.
