Fillings
At Donato Dental, we use CEREC to restore decayed teeth, replace or place crowns, remove defective amalgam fillings, or place cosmetic veneers, all in just one appointment.
Resin Composite
Bonding is tooth-colored material used to fill in gaps or change the color of teeth. Requiring a single office visit, bonding lasts several years. Bonding is more susceptible to staining or chipping than other forms of restoration. When teeth are chipped or slightly decayed, bonded composite resins may be the material of choice. Bonding also is used as a tooth-colored filling for small cavities. Additionally, it can be used to close spaces between teeth or cover the entire outside surface of a tooth to change its color and shape.
Veneers
Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain or plastic placed over the front teeth to change the color or shape of your teeth. Veneers are used on teeth with uneven surfaces or are chipped, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked. Little or no anesthesia is needed. Veneers are used to treat some of the same problems as bonding.
Crowns
Crowns, also known as caps, cover a tooth to restore it to its normal shape and appearance. Due to their cost, they are used in cases where other procedures will not be effective. Crowns have the longest life expectancy of all cosmetic restorations, but are the most time-consuming.
Bridges
Crowns and bridges are usually completed in two appointments. After your tooth is prepared, a temporary crown is placed on the tooth for protection. In rare instances the temporary may come off prior to the final cementation appointment. Call our office if your temporary becomes loose or is lost.

After todayâ€™s periodontal surgery, it is normal to experience some soreness for a day or two following treatment. Carefully follow all instructions to achieve the best result to aid healing.
Deep Cleaning
Smoking: Please do not smoke following scaling and root planning procedures. Tobacco smoke is an irritant to healing. Refrain from smoking for 24 hours or longer.

Complete (full) and Immediate Dentures: We only use high quality (TrubyteÂ®) denture teeth in all of our dentures. We take special care in choosing the proper shade, shape and size teeth that are right for you so that your smile will look esthetic and natural.

After todayâ€™s oral surgery appointment, it is normal to experience some soreness for a day or two following treatment. This may be due to the previous condition of your mouth or a result of the dental procedure.

Donato Dental was the first office outside of NYC licensed to provide patients diagnosed with gum disease a minimally invasive alternative to conventional gum surgery utilizing the PerioLaseÂ® Nd:Yag Laser: The PeriolaseÂ® laser is used in performing a patented and FDA approved technique called Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) which has been shown to regenerate a new periodontal attachment in patients with gum disease where the attachment is usually compromised or destroyed.
