- Cheryl's Pet Boarding & Grooming we specialize in the personal touch and making your pet feel at home. We have over 20 years of experience in the pet boarding, grooming and training industry. We are a small private family run kennel with 24 hour supervision and security as the kennel is only 30 feet from our home. My husband Paul and I are Christians who try to glorify God in all that we do. We are a small family run facility; I am a third generation dog fancier. My mother at seventy-two years old still owns and runs her own grooming shop as her mother did. I have been involved since I was a child in many aspects of the dog fancy, including: grooming, breeding, showing, and training. I currently show, and have titled many dogs in breed, obedience, and agility. I also have a background in dog behavior and behavior modification training. My husband Paul is my best friend and my right hand man, as he is now retired. Paul was involved in the building and construction industries, we are very blessed because there isn't much he can't fix. Paul has also supported me and been involved in many parts of the dog fancy, and is currently helping me train Fiona, an amazing eleven-month old Newfoundland. Fiona is working to achieve her certification as a certified service dog for a nine year old autistic child. We offer very reasonable rates full grooming services, play time, a bed time (usually organic) snack, discounts for multiple pet families, extended stays. We are very conveniently located a half mile of Rte 16 and the Spaulding Turnpike. We are also on the way to the White Mountains, Storyland, Lake Winnipesauke, and many other major tourist attractions, so you can now keep your pet close even while on vacation!

- We are located in a country setting; the kennel is only thirty feet from our home with twenty- four hour supervision. We offer a clean, safe environment with a home like atmosphere, and of course we are fully heated and air-conditioned for our guests comfort. We specialize in the personal touch of making our guests feel at home. We only accept a maximum of six or seven guests at a time, as we are much smaller than most facilities, which has two major benefits, we do not have to hire outside help, and both Paul and I are able to spend more one on one time with individual guests. We also specialize in small, nervous, special needs, or older dogs who just don't do well in larger commercial facilities, as it can be just too much stimulation and overwhelming for some sensitive dogs. Being an owner of 6 dogs for more then 20 years,we have tried many kennels.All kennels basically do the same thing take a dog in,care for it and charge you.At Cheryl's I feel you get so much more then that,being a breeder herself she has a vast knowledge of animals.The kennel is always immaculate and my dogs love her and Paul.Some of our dogs have had special needs and I can not think of a better place to leave them.Cheryl's is the only kennel we will use.
This place is great! This small country pet boarding gives your pet the love and attention they deserve. Each pet gets their own space and play time. The owner is so friendly and full of pet care knowledge. You'll feel very welcome and at home in her establishment. If you are looking to board your pet with the feeling of home, this is the place.
Cheryl was wonderful! She was thoughtful both for us and our dog Gus. It seemed like he became part of their family while he was there. Because he was there for 12 days, she even offered to give him a bath and cut his nails before he came home. She is a kind, thoughtful, dog person with a big heart for both the dogs and their owners. I would highly recommend her.
