Relax, Take 5 and have a “Cortadito” – the best one in downtown Miami BY: DAVEGARCIA.NET -- Las Palmas Cafeteria doesn’t have the best dish presentation but it certainly has an authentic Cuban Cuisine and homemade flavor to their menu. If you are hungry and on a budget Las Palmas is by far the most economical place in downtown Miami to have a full, great meal at and awesome price. Tasty and nice size portions are served. When I worked in downtown Miami, this was my favorite place to enjoy a break in the day and do a little people watching while enjoying my coffee. It’s neither spacious nor fancy. If you do want to grab lunch here be prepared to wait at least 10 – 15 minutes, but they do serve you a slice of Cuban bread toast with butter while you wait.
This brand new Coffee Roaster and Coffee house is a gem in downtown Miami. Its accross from my office in the Chase bank building. The most amazing espresso and Latte I have ever had. Delicious pastry and Coffee Roasted right in the cafe. I also bought a pound of their Ethiopia, (Guji Shakiso). Night and day compared with the stale coffee they sell at Publix. Definatly check this out and tell your friends. p.s. also Free Wifi and Free Parking plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
I have ordered from Buttercream Cupcakes for several events (at least 7 times in the past 6 months) and I could not be more pleased!!! The cupcake flavors are original and delicious! I even ordered their mini cupcakes for my daughter's 2nd birthday party at her day care...they were a huge hit with the little ones and all the staff! You will never be disappointed! I would recommend Buttercream Cupcakes & Coffee to anyone with a sweet tooth!
So..this place is such an awesome restaurant to go to. My friends and I wanted to go to a Kosher Restaurant and she heard about this place in Aventura. I had the Mediterranean Pizza which was so good!! And the Green Lemonade is to die for. The pricing is awesome too. The meals are very affordable. The atmosphere is comfy and the lighting is different from any other restaurant I've been to. I will definitely be visiting again.
Café Bella Arte is a family owned and ran Cuban café in the Bird Road Art District. The special of the day could be Vaca Frita with Moros and maduros and it includes a drink this is good homemade food. The place is clean and charming and the patrons are mostly artists.
It reminds me of a coffeehouse I would go to when I lived in Portland, Oregon. It's nice and mellow, the prices are good and the coffee is awesome. It's the kind of coffeehouse you can stay at for hours working or reading.
Great new place for faculty and students FINALLY!! My only complaint is that they are closed on Saturday's, but I guess we can't have everything - a new upscale coffee house on campus is a plus. And they have a TV :)
Love the store great atmosphere. The staff is awesome and always willing to help. The quality of the drinks are incredible :-) Greatly recommend to anyone. Looks like they just remodeled. Looks great!
Buttercream cupcakes WOW! They are fabulous. I ordered them for Easter Sunday, and my family and friends went crazy over them. I am a customer for life.
I recommend this place. I just love it! This newly open coffee shop is unlike anything else in Miami. Authentic. Delicious. They even serve in #grecas !!!
