Urgent Care Center

I had the worst experience with Dr. Juan Guttierrez. I would not recommend his facility. It is an old, not so clean or orderly office to begin with. I called his office beforehand to see what the co-payment was and they told me to just come in and that doctor would work with me since I am not insured. I came in and no one knew who said what. Then one of his staff members said I would pay only $100.00 for the co-payment and "probably nothing else." Then I have not even filled out my paperwork and Dr. Guttierrez asks to see me. He was extremely rude to me and the person accompaning me. He looked at my back where I had a huge red bump and he claimed that he would squeeze out what was inside and needed another $100.00. I asked him about the procedure and he said not to worry about it...he would cut my skin, squeeze out whatever was inside and he would leave the wound open to heal on its own. The room where the procedure would take place looked dirty and messy so I got a little weary. When I asked questions about the charges he started to blurpp out "OK OK Bye Bye, Bye, Bye" so I left. It was the most ackward experience of my life. He does not even look like he is legal or should be performing any type of procedures. It seemed like he got his doctor license through a vending machine and his appearance seemed strange. I wounded up going to the ER next door at Kendall Regional and they laughed out looud when I told them what he wanted to do to me. A surgeon had to cut me open, remove what was inside with scapels, I received 4 stitches and need to go back in a few days to remove packing inside for drainage and stitches. Dr. Guttierrez wanted to cut me open and with his fingers "squeeze" and not sew back up. Clearly insanity. I WOULD SUGGEST FOR NO ONE TO COME HERE....EVER. He is asking for $100.00 co-payment and you can go anywhere for that. He should be working behind the meat counter at a local supermarket. This practice does not even deserve one star...negative stars.

I've been there many times and every time i go,i get the same corteous,lovely and professional service. I highly recommend this center for any urgent care nedds. Thank you Dr.Gutierrez. You and your staff are great!!! Keep it up.
