NEVER HAD ANY COMPLAINT ABOUT THE FOOD AND SERVICE

I have been a regular at this Thai restaurant for many years and all I can say is that their food is delicious and just has the right balance of flavors required in the Thai cuisine. It can't be any better than this considering that I have visited other restaurants in town and have gone to Thailand too. Excellent food with an impecable service with Peter, the manager, always ready to accomodate our needs or suggest new dishes and even remember our preferences.

BEST THAI FOOD IN TOWN

I have gone to this restaurant for more than 24 years. It was the only place where I could eat during my pregnancy many years ago because the food was fresh and healthy. They have ALWAYS kept the quality of their food, something very difficult to achieve in a restaurant. I have tried almost everything in the menu and they always surprise me. Their food has a delicate combination of flavors that makes you want to go back. Their appetizers like the curry puffs are delicious, the Pad Thai the best I have ever had, the special fried rice has a blend of flavors that when you finish it you still want to have more, the fish in curry sauce, the sweet and sour pork, baby corn shrimp just to name some of their best dishes. The pumpkin custard and doughnuts are always fresh and a good way to finish a meal that has nothing to envy 5 stars restaurants. The food is awesome, the prices are great and the service is very good. I have recommended this restaurant to friends and everybody continues to go there. Definitely the best Thai in town.

Nice Asian Cuisine

Last week we, me and my wife visited Royal Thai to celebrate her birthday after seeing good reviews of the restaurant for its Asian cuisine. We found the place really good and the food as well. 'The Baby corn chicken' was really nice and so 'ginger fish'. The most delicious dish among we were served that day was 'Thai doughnut'. We really appreciate the hospitality and warm service of Peter who was serving the food that day even being manager of the restaurant.

Bad Thai

I visited this restaurant after reading some promising reviews and was very disappointed. I have lived in Miami now for over 8 months and still can?t seem to find any decent Asian food. I have lived in NYC, Boston, Bangkok and Manila and although I love Miami, I find it is completely devoid of any decent or authentic Asian food.

Royal Thai looked promising but the dishes were a bit overpriced and the taste/ingredients were way off. They brought out a ?clear soup? before our entrees that was more Chinese than Thai. The curry was thin and runny - the Tom ga kai was tastless and thin. The Pad Thai tasted more like a sweet Filipino dish - almost as if they added ketchup. The Satay was nominal as the sauce had real coconut in it. The service was dismal - our waitress was more worried about setting tables rather than bringing us silverware, food or Nam-pla. She would serve us food without silverware and after asking for it she would forget. We had to finally get up and go to another table to grab silverware ? complete torture.

I would say if you?re looking for decent or authentic Thai food, don?t bother with the trek out to Royal Thai as you will be let down. I believe many of these reviews written here are made by relatives or paid students ? you are better off cooking Thai in your own kitchen ? it will be better than anything you can find out there.

Rock star treatment - and you don't even have to be a rock star!

My wife and I just had dinner at Royal Thai and we had to rush home to write this review... The food is spectacular and the service is simply rock star quality (mind you- neither my wife nor myself are rock stars, but we were surely treated as if we won a Grammy last week!) What an incredible experience!
Having sampled some of the best restaurants in the nation and having lived in San Francisco, home of some of the best asian restaurants anywhere, Royal Thai is, by far, one of the best- if not THE BEST- dining experience of our lives. Trust us on this one- you don't want to leave this planet without having eaten here and experienced the amazing service and exquisite food!

?The best Thai food ever

We've been going to this place for years, even though we live in Miramar, which makes it a long drive. Every time I mention to my family ""today we are eating Thai"", they get all exited and happy.
The service is great, friendly, and non aristocratic, just the way we like it. You get treated by Peter the manager like a friend, he knows my son's life, his girlfriend, and he is constantly joking with him. We never order by the menu, for he knows by memory what we like and how we like it. Every dish is exceptional, no matter what you order, you will not find it better in another Thai restaurant.
I've been to many Restaurants, from the inexpensive to the very expensive, but I've never found a place like this one.
Enjoy it.

Thai cuisine at its best!

My mouth just waters when i think about Royal Thai. I've been eating here for years and its still my favorite. The food is so delectable, everything is so delicious, from the shrimp roll - shrimp wrapped in a thin wrapper fried and served with a delicous sweet an spicy sauce, to the main dishes, which are so fresh and lite, full of vegetables and the most delcious sauce and served with jasmine rice. And their desserts, don't even get me started on the fried bananas - yum, and the pumpkin custard, so amazingly good! This restaurant is truly top notch. Small, casual, yet beautifully decorated in thai decor. You feel like you've escaped the city and are in a whole other world. Oh and the service, can't leave that out, is outstanding, the manager takes your order, makes suggestions, and even if your new to thai cuisine, will help you find your perfect dish. Truly a gem!!

Every bit worth the drive...

This place is hard to find but worth the trouble. The appetizers weren't so great but the entres, Pad Thai and Spicy Red Snapper, were excellent, and worth a return visit very soon.

BEST THAI FOOD and GREAT PRICES!

A friend recommended this restaurant and it is hands down the best place to get Thai in all of Miami. The pad thai is the best I've ever had and the masaman curry is phenomenal. The staff is very friendly. We love it there! It's a quiet restaurant h lots of sunlight streaming in, which is unusual for its location (hidden away in a strip mall). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
