Worst customer service experience of my life.



After I requested to cancel services through an email to Patrice, I asked for my key to be returned in the same fashion as it had been picked up - that Patrice come to my work and I would meet her out front. She replied to my email stating she would drop it off that week. About a week later, I had had to contact Patrice several times inquiring about the key, and she informed me she was having health problems and was scheduled for surgery. She again promised that she could drop the key off at my work, which she stated is about 5 minutes away from her home. She then asked if I could come to her home and retrieve my key from the front desk of her complex. I stated this would be very inconvenient for me, and again requested she bring the key to my work. Patrice stated she would be able to bring the key to my work.

Three weeks after my original request, I sent Patrice a stern email, asking to have my key by a specific date, or I would request to speak to her supervisor. I received a call and a long voicemail from Patrice, stating that she had been out of town, that she has health problems, that her nephew is having health problems and has a fever of 106. In this voicemail, she assured she would get my key to me. Then I received another phone call and voicemail (after I informed her I was currently in a meeting), where Patrice stated she had looked more carefully at my email and that she was hurt, and that my email was "unacceptable." Patrice stated that she would leave my key at the front desk of her apartment complex.

Since this was the middle of the work day, I texted Patrice to let her know that I believe it is inappropriate for me to go out of my way, as a paying customer, to retrieve my key. Patrice texted back, "you are not a customer anymore" and continued to refuse to bring my key to me, insisting that I retrieve it myself from her residence. Patrice also referred to my email as me "threatening" her. When I informed her that I felt uncomfortable due to the fact that I work in the medical field and have encountered patients who live at her complex, Patrice texted me, "Ur nuts. I live in a 5-star resort." Seeing that she was becoming more and more difficult, I agreed to retrieve my key from her complex. She texted me saying, "Please do not contact me anymore." I went out of my way to find her complex, and ran in to get the key from the front desk. Before I walked out the door, I got a text from her saying "Glad you picked up." I was really disturbed by the insinuation that she was watching me, and texted back, "You're watching me??? Now who's nuts?" She replied "You torched me for a key for Christ's sake. Ur crazy."

I do not have words to express how disrespectful and unprofessional this woman is. I am a young woman, and appear younger than my age, and I feel she felt she could manipulate and bully me into doing as she likes. I have no idea how anyone could think this is acceptable behavior for a professional relationship - first the delay in returning my personal property, then the unbelievably rude exchanges I received from her. I believe she should not be involved in customer service in this company at all if Kleen1 wishes to remain a viable business.
