Pretty darn good pizza

We tried the pesto and goat cheese pizza. While a little on the greasy side, that is to be expected of a pizza with pesto sauce instead of tomato. The crust was great as was the pizza. The caprese salad was pretty good, but left a little to be desired since it needed more balsamic vinegar and basil. I would prefer to give 3 and half stars, but that is not an option... so I will round it up because I don't think it deserves 3 either. Great service btw.

So Far THE BEST Pizza in Miami
Being from the metropolitan NY area, the thing we "northerners" miss the most are diners and pizza!!! No matter how much Miami pizzerias promise "New York" style pizza, no one has been able to deliver until now!! This is the closest thing to NY/NJ pizza you will get!! I highly recommend it.

The best in West Kendall
I used to drive all the way to Pembroke Pines or US1 to go to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza.... Not anymore!!!
Carina's is delicious, tasty, well done without the waiting lines like Anthony's and that bunch of people all together like sardines in a small place.
Also, their attendants are really nice!!!

Stone fired pizza right in my neighborhood,yes! Had my first pie delivered last night (and it won't be my last) a margarita(tomato,mozzarella and basil) and it did no disappoint. The pizza was perfectly well-done and the sauce and toppings offered a delectable treat. I had to force myself NOT to eat all 6 slices. The best pizza in West Kendall,and I have tried many of them. An extensive menu that includes soup,sandwiches,pasta,salads,specialty gelato ice coffee drinks and more. Happily,for vegheads like me,plenty of choices. Equally impressive is the owner's commitment to the planet and giving back to the community by staging art shows once a month and contributing a portion of the profits to Global Green and assorted charities. Be nice to see other local restaurant owners follow this business model. I will certainly support this establishment and recommend it to my friends. Have to rate it 4 and a half to 5 stars even though it was my first time experiencing it.
