As a resident and business owner in Kendall I want to give you some feedback on the funeral I attended on Thurs evening.
I arrived about 8p from my office and the services had just started. There were no seats in the chapel so I stood right outside the door hoping I could hear and participate in the service. The amount of noise coming from the people in the hallway was so loud not only could I not hear but people in the chapel could barely hear because of the outside noise. Someone from the chapel actually got up and went to inform a Garcia employee that it was disturbing the services but nothing happened.
There were children running and screaming in the hallway immediately outside this chapel and no adult or Garcia employee seemed to be supervising them or requesting them to quiet down. The adults were just as bad, talking very loudly!
There was total disregard for the family who was attempting to hold a dignified ceremony for their beloved family member.
As a former hospice nurse I have attended many funerals of various ethnic & religious groups. Never have I seen such total disrespect for other’s especially at this vulnerable time.
