Angel's Moving & Delivery

My family and I have always relied on Angels Moving & Delivery every time we needed moving & delivery services. In the past, this company has helped us 4 times and on each occasion they were professional, courteous, clean, understanding, and handled our furniture with extreme care. You never have to worry about your furniture and items once placed in their moving truck because they will cover everything with a padded blanket and secure heavy furniture pieces with straps. A few weeks ago my mother called Angels Moving & Delivery the day before to schedule a last minute job and they confirmed! In addition to their availability and adhering to the facial masks mandate, we trust them to always be on time for their job. One of the best aspects of Angels Moving & Delivery is that they are multi-lingual, which is helpful in connecting with their clients to understand their specific needs. I do recommend to have everything already packed and easily accessible. Thanks!

NIGHTMARE!!! STAY AWAY!!



It all started when I needed someone to move and all the ppl my friends recommended were booked. I looked at the reviews and went on that. Bad move. Looks like these reviews were bogus or came with the advertisement.



I called angel and asked him for a quote for a one bedroom and he said it $360 for 4hrs and $85/hr for each additional hr. I asked how long does it normally take on average to move a 1 b/r apt and he said anywhere from 2.5-3hrs. So I figured 4 hrs would be enough . He never came to look at my place to give me a quote everything was done over the phone.



This is when the problems started. His movers got there and took their sweet time wrapping and moving everything. at one point i came down to see what was taking them so long and one guy was in the truck texting. Angel only sent two guys for the move so the truck was left unattended w all my stuff in the street. 3 hrs had passed and we were still in my old apt w just boxes and bags loaded and all the furniture still upstairs.



I called angel to complain and he said that if I don't want to pay for more than 4hrs that he will have the movers leave after 4hr regardless of the state of my move. at this point it wasn't an option to find someone else because if i didn't get my stuff in the new apt before 4pm they were going to charge me $200/hr for use of the freight elevator.



At the rate they were moving it was going to take them 8hrs to move A ONE BEDROOM APT 700 SQ FT W AVERAGE AMOUNT OF FURNITURE AND EVERYTHING PRE-PACKED.



I had to call my boyfriend to leave work at lunch time to come help them out and I ended moving all the smaller boxes and bags on my own. 6hrs and 4 pp later i was finally done.



NEVER AGAIN. Even the security at my blg managing the elevators said these were the slowest movers they have ever worked with. The overall experience was very stressful and tiring. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE.



Here is what I learned the hard way and hope you dont have to go through:

- Never use Angel movers

- Always get a quote for the entire job. never go with hourly because they will take all the time in the world.

- Avoid moving at the end or beginning of the month. Prices are cheaper any other times and you can find better options.

- Try to go with someone referred and not out of the yellow pages.

- Preferably min 3 movers or more
