Great place for a unique experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the fire dancers, live music, and great atmosphere. The drink menu doesn't have a price list. You may want to ask beforehand to avoid surprises, but the food was pretty good. I'd definitely come back with a group of friends next time!
I went here with a few friends for a bday party in August 07' I saw the restaurant online and decided to try it out. I'm from New York and this being a "hot" Miami restaurant, I thought it would be a great place to celebrate my best friend's b'day. About 10 minutes after we were seated a mouse was walking right behind my head on the wall where I was sitting (a booth)
Some one spotted the mouse and told me so I got up from my seat and the mouse a few seconds later fell on top of my friend who was sitting beside me on the booth! ON HER BIRTHDAY. Instead of making a scene, we asked to be seated elsewhere. The staff tried to help but the "manager" didn't apologize or seem to care. (he's bald, thin, and tries to act important) We were then seated in the back after we asked to be moved, and the new seats we had were SOAKING WET. We asked them why the red booth was wet they said "We had to clean it and don't worry it won't stain your clothes" The worst part was we were seated with our heads against the stage which was extrememly loud.
Anyway to make a long story short, when we finally got our food it was as BLAND as EVER. The food was cold. And I don't mean warm I mean COLD. Very Tasteless and 2 people in my party had to wait an extra 15 minutes before their food came out. The only good thing about this place was that the drinks were decent AND I MEAN "Decent" nothing Great.
They didnt even try to give us a break on the bill for poor service, cold food, wet seating, and more importantly the MOUSE THAT FELL ON MY FRIEND>>THE B'DAY GIRL. And not once did that Pathetic excuse for a man/manager apologize. He's lucky we didn't call the health department. But I figure>..Hey, sooner or later more and more people are going to start finding mice in their food let alone falling from the walls. And that restaurant will be completely shut down.
So Foodies please take some advice, I've been to the cream of the crop restaurants in New York, Per se, Cafe Grey, Daniel, Alain Ducasse, u name it and I have also been to your everyday fun food places like Clevelander, Kittichai, Spice Market, Houston's...but Touch, really has it's own category>>The Mouse House

THis place is amazing. From the moment I walked through the door I was amazed at the the exotic decor. The scallops and prawn appetizer was so sweet and delicious. The Kobe steak was the best I ever had. The music and live musicians was a real treat. It reminds of the supperclubs me and my husband used to enjoy in New York.\r \r

As a Concierge for 3 years in Houston, Texas and being a regular visitor to the Miami Area one of my favorite places to go is ""Touch"". I really enjoy the atmosphere combined with the food which makes Touch the quintessential restaurant in South Beach. However things went a little differently when I was there recently. I made my resvervations for 5 for May 12, 2007 at 9:45pm. As soon as I entered my table was the furthest from the stage, which was kind of annoying however, I let it go because I understand how busy they are. As the waitress came, we told her we wanted waters and the desert menu because I truly enjoyed their deserts.\r \r \r \r \r The Host then came shortly saying they will not serve me deserts and will charge each person a minimum of $25! I called the manager telling them how outrageous this was, and they told me there was a line up of people who wanted to have dinner there and they were going to spend more money than me, although I had a reservation. We already ate dinner at Tony Chan's which was excellent. They did not even pour water in our glasses and we were there for about 30 minutes. This upset me so much, we just walked up and left and the manager did not even care. \r \r This shows Touch looked at me a dollar sign not as a prospective client who was coming to enjoy the chefs culinary skills. As a Concierge in Houston, TX and being a Foodie I will go where the best food is regardless of the atmosphere and I was shocked for there complete disregard for the customer. They basically told me that those people are more important because they are going to spend $300 rather than your $70. This is not the way any restaurant that truly enjoys serving food should operate. I have eaten at some of the greatest restaurant in Houston and the service and the food go hand in hand. I still cannot believe the service was so bad that they did not serve me water or did not even stop me when I was leaving. I was completely disrespected that Touch and will never return.

Wanted to go to a great restaurant during our first visit to Miami. Everything from service to food was great. I had the grouper filet and my husband had the Ahi Tuna Steak which was incredible. If you are willing to spend $$ for a memorable night of feasting, this is it. The ambience was beautiful. The only thing I could have done without is the loud New Age Music, but they did have a live sax player and a belly dancer that was not at all cheesy. I would come back.

Touch offers the best of both worlds - you can just sit outside and chill, watching the craziness that is south beach, or you can go inside for a beautiful classy dining/lounge experience. A lot of the places on Lincoln Road can't offer both. The menu is GREAT. So many different things to choose from and I like the unique ingredients each one has to offer. The shrimp salad has a spicy side - something you don't find regularly. And, there is even an interesting vegetarian main course - I didn't try it but I can't wait to go try it!

First of all, the food was fine. Not great or even very good - just fine. HOWEVER - my husband found a SCREW in his salad! Being not into eating metal - we called the manager over who seemed surprised and made light of it by saying ""would you like another salad, we wouldn't want to screw you"". Funny but little remorse or apology. Then when the bill came - we were charged for the new salad. We called the manager back over and he then apologized and took it off the bill BUT i would think any other restaurant would have offered to take off his meal or as a courtesy would present a round of drinks or desserts...it just displayed a total lack of customer service or grace. It's all about the principal of the situation. After the screw and the way they handled it - we would never return to Touch.

After visiting countless numbers of upscale, trendy, and fashionable dining venues all across South Florida, this restaurant is at the absolute top of the charts. The experience engulfs every aspect of the visitors senses like no other restaurant I have ever seen before. It is amazing to notice that all who dine here always claim of getting lost in the wonder of this spectacular establishment. The food, service, ambiance, and location truly touch all areas of what visitors are really looking for. Upon arrival, a very gracious greeting was offered by the manager and a delightful evening promised. While enjoying the beauty of this magnificent dining scene, the cinnamon-smoked duck was the most delicious entree I have ever had. My taste buds still quiver at its every thought. Ladies and Gentlemen, please bring your appetites and your Sundays best for a night that will truly touch your souls. L.A.

The challenge; six couples with attitudes and low expectations....(Based on South Beace experience) Bring on a sexy, suave, mesmorizing and super efficient French Waiter...add amazing food and perfectly recommended wine...um...we surrendered! The experience was one of the best we can collectively say we ever had... My friends speak of the entertainment, I and my girls were distracted by the aforementioned Jude Lawesque waiter and the boys were all consumed by the steak. It was a wonderful experience and weel worth the extra cash....Je T'aime(d)!

Can I say what a load of crap. If this place was judged on the hostesses I would have rated this place a ""Not recommended""! With a reservation we still waited 1 hour and 45 mins for a table. Luckily there was always the bar with $15.00 martinis! Everytime we asked about our table the oh so smart hostesses were like ""What"",..DUH! My recommendation,...please higher new door people! The only thing that saved this place was the attentive wait staff and the decent food. Luckily these places are only in the states because in places like London or Paris,....this kind of a place won't last. Get a clue people!

This place definately hand picks their staff. From the moment my partner and I entered this restaurant we were treated with such much kindness and attention that by the time we sat down, after a wait by the bar we knew we had found our new favorite eatery. Besides the fact that the staff was gay friendly the food was out of this world.

I attended a bathing suit fashion show at Touch and it was wild. The hottest models were painted like wild animals as they moved down the runway in the tiniest bikins. It was hot but artistic and original at the same time. The atmosphere, music and crowd were all exciting. I definately recommend this place to anyone looking for an entertaining place to go.

I recently took an important high-end out-town-client to Touch and they were very impressed. Everything went off so smoothly from the service, to the food to the entertainment that it really made it easy for me to close a deal with this guy. I highly recommend Touch to anyone who wants to take someone out and impress them. Especially if they are from out of town and you want to show them all that Miami has to offer, you can do it all in one fall swoop.

For anyone who lives in or visits South Beach, this restaurant is a MUST. The sea bass was excellent, as was the filet. What is even better than the food (if that's possible) is the ambiance. I would highly recommend it for a romantic dinner, or anytime you want great food, great entertainment, and a place to see and be seen!

My family experienced the worst service we have had anwhere in the world. We were ignored for half an hour after every course. The food is average, certainly there is much better cuisine in Miami Beach without the aggrevation of being ignored and at unreasonable prices.
