My son turned 18 and we went to Tattoos By Lou for his first tattoo. My husband and I do not have tattoos and have never visited a Tattoo Shop. Needless to say, our experience was fantastic. The atmosphere is extremely friendly, warm and very artistic. The staff was extremely helpful, informative and with lots of personality! We were recommended to see Kiki who specializes in portraits. He was phenomenal. He is truly an artist and was great with our son. He discussed ahead of time what he could do and was very patient and bonded well with our son. The result was just amazing - just PERFECT!!! My husband is heading to see Kiki in two weeks to get the same tattoo. I highly recommend KIKI and Tattoos by Lou - you will not be disappointed!

To be honest, it´s not easy for me to write this – not only because of the language as I´m german but because I really liked the tattoo studio (“Tattoo by Lou”) and the guy “Lee” also somehow... but on the other hand I think I´m responsible to warn others: I cannot recommend LEE RODRIGUEZ as a tatooer or tattoo artist!!! During my last holiday in Miami Beach in 2011 I asked at “Tattoo by Lou” for a simple one dimensional and unicoloured freehand tribal as an extension to an already existing one on my left upper arm. Lee wanted to do it although the price he demanded seemed a bit overcharged. Well as I didn´t know the prices in Miami Beach, the studio had a good recommendation and he told me, that he worked for Miami Ink before, I thought it was worth it. During the tattooing I just wondered, that it was more painful than the other Tattoos I got before and that it actually took ages... The end product looked like a little kid had played around with a felt-tipped pen, as my friends use to say – well, some say a kid would at least paint out better! To be serious: Aside from the “motif” he did with little preparation time freehanded, he didn´t manage to put in the ink constant or symetrical at all and the edges were without exception in no way precise. Now I´m spending a lot money for laser sessions and a hopefully good cover up!

This tattoo parlour is the BEST!! The staff is super friendly and they know what they are talking about. They can draw you up a custom designs in no time with ease. The photo realism artist Kiki is one of the top in Florida and super humble, they also have some of the sickest lettering artists (Fernando) around! I recommend this place to anyone who is looking to make a permanent statement with art!!

It is a small tattoo studio, but after visiting I can totally see why they have been in business on Miami beach for 20 years. The counter person was super friendly. Was so willing to go out of there way to get my tattoo done for me the way I wanted it. I am so happy to guy at the front desk at the hotel told me to go here. It is a local place. I will be coming back on my next visit to MIA

I have been to alot of Tattoo Studios. But this one is by far the cleanest I have ever been in. The staff was super friendly. They were more then willing to show me the artist portfolios and to suggest which of their artist would be best for the style of tattoo I wants. All in all I would have to say I am 100% happy with my visit here :)

i just got my new tattoo from FERNANDO at Tattoos by lou on south beach! He did such a wonderful job!!! i totally cried when he was done! i cant wait to go back to him!!!!!!!! thank you fernando thank you so much!!! no one could have done a better job and my daddy loves it too!!!!!

i went to the south beach location \r \r as soon as a walked into the door they were ready and willing to go above and beyond to make my tattoo exactly what i wanted \r \r gave me all the options they had for me, not just the easiest one for them to do\r very clean and professional\r \r people made me feel very comfortable the whole time\r \r the pricing was more than reasonable (i mean i gave a 23% tip on a pretty intricate tattoo) i know your not supposed to shop around for price, but the price were good and the artist experience is great\r \r am recommending it to everyone, and am ready to go back if i ever want to get another\r \r all together, a real class act
