Overall
There aren't any places that I...

There aren't any places that I can think of that have the worst customer service than this place. I mean even the owner was rude, when I was telling him about an issue I was having with the room. It as if he felt that I should accomodate to the hotel instead of the other way around. There is nothing great about the place, its old, smells funny when your walking in, everything is dated. If you value your health, I'd recommend the hotel across the street, at least it doesn't smell like mold, and the staff is friendler.

Overall
Terrible service

The location is very nice on North Miami Beach. The hotel has some history, and is quite aged. The hotel rooms have not been updated in many years, the beds are uncomfortable. The bathroom was probably the best area of each room.



My issue with this visit was the room rate. I was quoted and reserved a room for $65/night. Upon arrival, after 12 hours of flying, the reservation could not be located and my rate jumped to $135/night. I was told by customer service that, I could go elsewhere if I was not happy with the rate.



I was EXTREMELY disappointed with front desk service. I was told there was no manager to speak to. Needless to say, after a long day of traveling, I spent one night at that rate and departed the next morning. Since then, there has been no attempt by hotel management to resolve the dispute.



Would it be worth $65/night, YES. No way was this hotel worth $135/night. Not to mention the front desk and management staff were very rude and bothered by my request to resolve this major room rate error.
