Be descriptive on what you will have the shop do, how much will be charged, and what all is or isn't included in what you need the shop to perform, 86$ per hour for labor is no way to find you needed several more hours of work added after the work has begun. I will use this shop again but will do alot more homework first. 1) GOOGLE your problem first, understand the nature of the problem and possible cures. No you will not find a switch to be thrown or a fuse to be replaced but in some cases to fix is alot easier than you might have imagined....cheaper too. 2) Is the total work more than the ACV of the vehicle is worth? 3) Get it in writing. Job well done.
No new or used dealer is perfect and going 2C good & bad review.. but really I have found here to be quite fair in price, owner seems to care + work w/customer.. with some really fine autos on lot.. have to check as inventory changes, but can find special cars. Some may be older or with miles, but engines are made to last with avg driver at 15K miles /year.. so >100K no real big deal… my odometer is nearly twice that. ALSO, THEY OFFER A WARRANTY THAT CANBE AUTO RENEWED!! GIVE THEM A TRY, CANT BE ALL BAD BECAUSE AROUND DECADES.
I don't know what happened with the guy that wrote a scathing review ... But my interaction with Paul at K&K, showed that he had integrity and honesty...actually was up front with me and did not try to "wrangle" me into something that was nor what I wanted, not into a bad purchase. It was quite commendable. Cheers!
