I just recently moved back home to Nola. Thai cuisine is one of my favorites so I was hoping to find a really good Thai spot here in Nola since I first tried it in CO. With just some searching on YP and going by the reviews, I found Siamese Thai restaurant. I promised my dad I would take him out to dinner and since he's never had Thai food in his life, the decision was made on this one. I was skeptical of whether or not my dad would like it but he loved it and so did I. The customer service was good too. I left the waiter a really good tip as I always tip good for good service but this tip was mainly based on their food being soooo delicious! It was amazing. I couldn't find anything wrong with any of my dishes. So it's safe to say that this will be my new eatery spot to treat myself to on a good happy day. If you hadn't been here yet or tried Thai cuisine before, I recommend the K5 dish - Roasted Duck Curry. I also recommend the Sticky Rice & Mango for dessert. The best part about this spot is it's 3xs healthier for you than other restaurants as most Thai food is. It doesn't have all the MSG which basically makes you addictive to eating even when you know you're not hungry, no gluten, no soy, etc. It's well worth the money, trust me.

Spice done right.

We weren't sure what to expect when we first went here as it's a small Thai restaurant in a cheap looking strip mall. Turns out it's some of the best Thai food we've ever had. The Extra Thai spicy dishes are done perfectly and I found it hilarious when the staff were peaking out to make sure my wife could eat it.

I've read other reviews complaining about the staff which has never been a problem with us - we go regularly and each time we have received prompt and courteous service and have seen others treated the same.

Fantastic thai food

I 'd definitely come back after my first experienced. Wow, I can't believe this I 've never seen this Thai place after they open for 15 years. Their foods so amazing, unbeliveable in taste, I bet you should go to check it out guy.

Best Authentic Thai!

Siamese is the only place that fares well with authentic Thai cuisine. The other restuarants in town are mediocre. Although the service is slow, the mom and pop style restuarant makes you feel at home. The curries and noodles are fabulous! I somewhat dislike the large variety of food only because I can never make up my mind. Otherwise, whatever I choose is always a winner.

Siamese Thai Restaurant

First of all it's service is horrible. The manager there try to give us something we didnt order. The fod was fare, not to die for. The atmosphere in not romantic or so good. staff horriblely not friendly at all. the review I read about this place about the table clothe and all, not true they have just regular tables. This restaurant is not rrcommanted at all to you people that want goog food and good service. There are more Thai food Restaurant in the city. Cafe Equator , La Thai Cuisine, Basil Leaf , Thai Style Cafe , Singha Cafe and last but not lease PanAsia Restaurant.

Family Favorite

This restaurant is one of my family's favorite Thai restaurant. Great food, even though service is slow, we never mind. Seems like a family restaurant. Similar to Thai food we had in Thailand. Highly recommended!

Lunch Fares

The lunch menu offers a great sampling of a Thai salad, appetizer, soup and main course. The value is outstanding (under $8.00 for seafood). Linen table settings, excellent service. This is Metaire's best kept secret.
