I went here for the first time yesterday and I must say...I was impressed. I didn't expect their shrimp poboys to be so authentic and delicious but it was. Their onion rings are to die for as well. The housemade onion ring sauce was good, but the only thing for me about that is it could be more tangy or spicy instead of the overwhelming taste of mayo. You can definitely tell it's over 90% mayo based with less "zang". It was still good though. The shrimp were fried perfectly! They were not overcooked nor under cooked. The seasoning on it was grrrreat! The bread was perfect! It had that fluff that authentic New Orleans French bread is supposed to have. Parran's is a must stop shop :).
