My wife and I ate there two nights ago. After looking at their website I allready knew what I wanted. I got the ribeye and BBQ brochette shrimp, and my wife got the new york strip. The shrimp weren't nearly as big as they looked on the website, but I have to admit they were some of the best I have ever had. Their ribeye was delicious just a little thinner than I like. The wife said her strip was excellent. We were on a low carb diet so we didnt eat any of the beer bread which I'm sure was great so only had a salad and green beans with our steak. The only (beef) I had with the dinner was the cost of my drink. I like a scotch and water w/my steak and ordered one. The waitress didnt know the price difference between bar scotch and Chevis, but I ordered one. The one they brought me couldn't have been over a 4 oz. glass. So when I asked the waitress for a second I told her i wanted a larger drink. when I got the bill the first one was $9.50 and the second one was $19. Now I dont know what profit margin restaraunts are operating on these days but 40% used to be the norm, but those scotch prices have to be around 400% at $30 for 3 shots of scotch! stick with the tea if you dont want to get gouged. Our ticket for two was $90 plus a $15 tip. Just felt like the whole dinner was at least 20% overpriced. Next time I will go to Texas Roadhouse and get a prime rib and scotch for half the price! Just to check my thinking I just called Roadhouse to get their drink prices and a Chevis and water there is $6.75 plus $2 more for a double, so $8.75 vs. $19 ???
