I can not trust this groomer again even though she said to bring her back, no way. Since my regular groomer was gone for a while, I found Main St Grooming, Mesa. I thought I could trust them after talking a while. I was honest & told receptionist our Sheltie is about 3 inches bigger than a normal Sheltie & had a lot of experience with groomers because she was a show dog and told her what I wanted & she said about $45.00 but I knew it would be & charged me $65.00, no issued there. I picked Gracie up she could barely walk, her paws were not done, the cut was jagged and her stomach had been scraped and she had bled in a couple places. My dog was acting different as though she was non-responsive. She is normally very happy to show-off her cut, etc. She looked up at me; her eyes drooped. I held & talked to her & she looked almost frightened. We got to car & she could not get up and when I assisted, she fell back and I caught her before her head it the asphalt. I noticed the groomer paid particular attention to what was happening & ran out & said "do you need help". I got her home & my husband looked at her, he was not happy and observed how our dog would not get up even when the thing (walking) that she loves the most, she wouldn't lift her head. My heart aches because when I called and complained about how my dog was acting, the groomer acted upset and said she would never purposely hurt an animal. Her story changed from our dog doing well to our dog was tired so that's why she decided not to do her paws. Today is day 3 and she is just now getting over the grooming. I will not take her there again even though they have offered, no way.
