Established in 2000, Desert Ridge Junior High School is located in Mesa, Ariz. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,100 students in grades seven and eight. It provides a variety of honors, special education, vocational, and before- and after-school tutoring programs. Desert Ridge Junior High School offers instructional programs in language arts, math, character education, foreign language and reading. The school s facilities include a library resource center, gymnasium, computer labs and classrooms. It additionally provides health and counseling services and tobacco cessation and lunch programs.
