Star Market - Meridianville

I live in Downtown HSV, and I enjoy my Weekly Scenic Drive to the friendliest grocery in Madison county. It's Star Market Meridianville. The Meat & Produce are the Best Bang for your Buck! I stopped by Star Market in Meridianville for the first time this morning in search of a new grocery store in my local area. When i got there i was greeted very kindly and promptly. Until i asked about their coupon policy. They very quickly changed there attitudes and were quite rude. I had two simple questions and when i asked them i felt as though i was bothering them. Needless to say i will not be going back to Star Market. I would prefer a grocery store that has staff that is much more polite and that is coupon friendly.

It's a Saturday tradition to stop by Star in Madison for their once-a-week fried catfish. We also order a Terry's pizza at least once per month.

Star Market in Meridianville is a terrific store. It has a small family atmosphere and helpful staff. Their prices are competitive and the store carries a good variety of merchandise. I would not buy meat anyplace else in the area - it is second to none!



The pharmacy staff are especially helpful and know everyone by name! There are other, larger stores where we could shop, but we choose to stay with the Star Market family. This store is truely the best!
