As a customer of Dr. Sekhon’s for the past eight years and most recently with my five-year-old lab, I find that he is the most caring and compassionate person that I ever met. I too have a pet that gets kind of skittish on his visits and is muzzled upon entering the building by way of the doctor’s suggestion.

As a responsible pet owner, it’s your duty to restrain your animal from harming others or yourself, and would have thought that you would have had enough brains with your so called past bad experiences at other vets, to have a muzzle on your pet before you ever entered the building, especially this being your first time there.

It seems to me that your kind of a lazy pet owner who only thinks about yourself and an easy way out by going from vet to vet for your convenience while you state you were very happy with your first vet. (Good luck to him in the future)

So maybe instead of posting negative comments and reporting people you should look in a mirror and ask yourself what could I have done to prevent this from happening???????

Whether you realize it or not, you are boarding a vicious cat that will strike again, and if this animal was reported to the state, as it should have been, your homeowner’s policy in most cases will exclude coverage for any future attacks.

My suggestion would be on your next visit to the vet instead of suggesting it be sedated, that you might in fact suggest it be cremated.

We have been taking our dogs and cats to Dr. Sekhon for over ten years. He helped us through determining our first adopted dog had kidney failure and what the appropriate treatment was until we had to euthanize him. He also treated our elderly cat who had hyperthyroid and kidney problems and he gave us all the facts so that we could make the best decisions for her. Now he is treating our adopted dog and has even most recently seen one of our foster dogs. We called concerned about a cough and he was able to get us in that day. He spoke with us extensively about what could be happening and why. He is very compassionate and it is clear he knows what he is talking about in terms of a differential diagnosis. We left very relieved and happy we had made the choice to come in to see Dr. Sekhon.

I began bringing my two cats to Dr. Sekhon after a bad experience with another Menomonee Falls Veterinary clinic. Boy, was I glad we switched! The doctor was good with my cats, thorough, reasonably priced and honest. I didn't feel like I was being sold a menu of services we didn't need, as I did with the other clinic. Also, the clinic is very clean, and we've never had to wait in a room full of other animals.

I would have to say the first time there i feel he gave me great advise straight to the point.and reasonable,To all reveiws written already in which i read we are all responsible to contain our pets or ask for a muzzle if the animal is scarce.Dr. & staff was honest and gave me great answers nothing that i can do because my dog is ill and need help bad and he's willing to to do what it takes without adding tests after tests.just what can help and go from there without going into your pockets .I hope he can bring my baby back this is her NAME &photo is above!

If any read this my baby died 17 HOURS from getting her first shot of steroid shot & Antibodie for her infection..ON 10-09-2012...I MISS MY BABY SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr Sekhon the most compassionate vet that I have ever met. His service is straight forward and affordable. He worked with me and my family to ensure our dog Princess received top notch care in her last year with us. He knew she was very sick and that we had "rose" colored glasses on when it came to her illness...but in the end, he did not judge us, nor did he force us into any decision to put her down. He let us resolve and make the decision for her ourselves. He is not about the $, he is about your pet and it's well being. I know we have been through so many vets that did not know our dog by name from one appt to the next...but Dr. Sekhon did, and he would call us and be very descriptive in regards to her test results and would give us the pros and cons of treatment, and took the time so we understood. He is a straight to the point doctor, and some people don't want to hear it because they don't want to believe...but he is there for your pets medical well being...not yours. We went through 2 vets before finding Dr Sekhon, and he was the vet that immediately diagnosed her versus the other 2 that after 100's of dollars and still could not figure out what was wrong with her. I wish we would have found him sooner when we first moved here. He took time out of his office to come to our home to euthanize our dog, to make her last moments peaceful and by him taking time from his office to allow us to surround Princess with loving family members in our own home...priceless... He was very professional and caring and would recommend him to anyone! Thank you Dr. Sekhon for everything that you did for our beloved Princess, and we will be returning to you when we welcome a new puppy to our family!

Will NEVER go back to this vet. We had other bad experiences at different vets and saw this vet had a lot of great reviews, so when our cat was having a very bad constipation issue we decided to take him here. We warned the assistant and the vet that our cat gets VERY agitated at the vet. In fact they saw that our pet was hissing and starting to strike out. We even told them that he has needed to be sedated in the past. Dr. Sekhon requested that my husband help restrain the cat for a general physical to assess the situation. My husband assisted as asked, with our cat displaying even more agitation. After the assessment was completed Dr. Sekhon asked my husband to take our cat back to help restrain for an x-ray. Yes, my husband should have stopped there, but figured that it might help our cat feel better about the situation so he did as he was asked. When Dr. Sekhon wanted our cat to be rotated on his side for the x-ray our pet lashed out and attacked my husband. Dr. Sekhon NEVER offered to help my husband remove the cat from his arm. In fact he left my husband to try to take care of the situation, more or less by himself, to come out to the waiting room, where I was left to hear all of this happening, to yell at me about having this cat as a pet. After being verbally attacked by him I was told that my husband needed to be taken to the hospital without any idea as to what actually happened. Needless to say it was a VERY traumatic experience for everyone involved and complaints will be filed. Completely appalled by the lack of care for our pet and his emotional well being as well as our own. We did take our pet back to an old vet where we have never had problems. The only reason we stopped taking our pets there is because of distance. They had absolutely NO problems taking care of our pet and addressing his problem. In fact everything went very smoothly. We will definitely make the drive from now on for the better care we receive there.

I was only looking up the number and saw the terrible review and needed to make sure people knew that was not an accurate depiction of this Dr or his facility. I have two cats that are treated there. The prices are the best in the area but that does not mean that the quality is lacking AT ALL. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly to me and I love the way Dr. Sekhon talks with his clients. He always gives me details and is most concerned for my pets. I have recommended him to my mom, sister and friends. My mom's dog and my sister dog both see him. One time my sister's dog got into some chocolate and started to get bloat real bad. It was after hours and the Dr met with her promptly. He gave her the best advice and his methods were cost conscious AND safety conscious. I trust him with my pets and any other pets as well. He has treated my cats and my mom's dog for worms. All of our pets get vaccinations through him. He is the best vet that I have ever had and my mom agrees. I am 24 and my mom is in her 50's. She has had pets and vets her whole life. She has had several vets and this is the best she has come across as well. Unfortunately, I moved away and have been having to have my cats treated by another vet. I am getting the number to have my records transferred NOT BECAUSE I WANT to, but because I live an hour and a half away now. Many vets will try to get as much money out of you as possible because they know how much you love your pet. They will recommend expensive and unnecessary treatments especially in emergencies. This Dr helps you consider every aspect and also will go to every length to save a pet in an emergency. He is truly the best that I know of.

I would not recommend this Clinic. I was calling around looking for a new Clinic and had questions about the Doctor, and the staff and the person on the phone sounded offended that I had questions! REALLY? I am trusting my dog with you ...I have questions!!! The woman was outwardly rude to me when I asked her to quote me some prices on vaccines...I am unemployed right now and yes, I am on a tight budget but, I do want good care and reasonable prices on services. I don't think I am asking too much! I obviously NEVER took my dog to their Clinic, because if they were that rude on the phone, I don't think the service would be any better! They did me a favor! I found a wonderful Pet Clinic in Richfield that I go to now, and BTW....their staff was not RUDE on the phone!

I recently switched to this vet for my two cats. I felt that we were rushed through the annual check up and that it wasn't very thorough. I had to ask about dental care and only then did the doctor recommend that one of the cats have a teeth cleaning. The prices are very reasonable, but as a new client I had several questions. I felt that my questions were misinterpreted as my accusing them of having high prices. All I was looking for was a detailed list of the charges since we had a number of services done during the visit. The doctor also made rude comments about my previous vet (who I was perfectly happy with, but we moved too far away). Overall I have received good care for my pets, but the service left me wondering if I need to keep searching for a new vet.

Everything you would want in a vet clinic honesty, options, and low prices. Not only do they treat your pet as if it were their own they treat you as if you were family.

This year I have made made two new additions to my family. Two wonderful cats that mean the world to me. So when it came time to find the right vet it had taken a couple tries until I had found this one. The Dr. is a wonderful and caring person who I trust with my pets. I'm very happy that Dr. Sekhon always finds the time to fit my pets in whether it's for vaccinations, or there is an emergency going on. Also it makes me feel good to know that the this vet has 24 hour emergency care. The past vets that I have gone to had problems fitting my pets in for emergencies and appointments this is why I had started looking for a new vet. Now I'm extremely happy to find a vet that is not only just a great place to take my pets, but the prices are also reasonable. This is the vet that I have recommended my family and friends to and not only do I enjoy going to but so do they. Thank you Menomonee Falls Animal Hospital!
