Tried it out last week and really liked it. The shop is small but clean with a cool but unassuming vibe. The menu is relatively straightforward but has a few confusing wildcards in it, like the waffles. I get waffle cones. I get sweet waffles in a coffee or pastry shop. Seems odd here.
The yogurt was very good -- they have a few flavors mixed at any given time. The topping selection was outstanding (love the mochi!) and the service was very good. I was there on a quiet Saturday evening -- wonder what it's like during a rush?
Definitely recommend it if you're ever in West Menlo Park. -
Great selection of toppings, decent yogurt flavors
The yogurt is solid. I've read various different reviews that suggest some of the yogurt is organic from Strauss, some not. Frankly, I could care less whether it's organic, as long as the basic vanilla tastes good and the selection of toppings is great - both of which are true at the Mix. Topping assortment is the best around. I'm sure Fraiche has better yogurt, but they're "too eco-crunchy" about their toppings, and don't leave you any room for real indulgence.
Suggestion: try the crumbled Butterfingers on vanilla. Yum...
