Had a test drive heard some knocking and other noises took to a mechanic got the info back to Smitty told them to fix before I brought car said they did fix I brought the car week later had to put in 350 on 50 50 to fix drive shaft one of the problems I told them to fix the first time would not recommend any one going there to get a car

This past winter I bought a car from Smitty's Auto Mart. It was a no pressure sale and I ended up getting a 2000 impala. Once I got the car back to Minneapolis, I noticed a problem with the car. Since I live far away we asked Smitty's if they'd honor their 30 day warranty until I came home next. They said they would, which was beyond the contractually stated date. I took the car to a shop here, and they said I had a blown head gasket and that it would cost over $2,000 for them to fix it. I towed the car back to Smitty's and at first they were going to fix it as per the terms of the contract (50/50). However, without and hour I got a call back saying they could put a new(used) engine in instead - One with 10,000 fewer miles for $50 less. So that's what we did, and I have no had any problems with the car since. I believe they went beyond what they had to (giving me flexibility on the 30 days because I go to school out of town), and working to not just fix the old engine, but to get me a different one to ensure no future problems.

I recently purchased a car from Smitty's and was very pleased with the service. I shopped at many of the larger auto dealers, but none impressed me as much as Smitty's.

I hate car shopping, and I'd never bought from a dealer before. I used to work right down the road from Smittys at Toys for Trucks. I worked with Mark and he was absolutely wonderful. He answered all questions I had, took care of every concern, helped me figure out financing, and even tolerated my mom and i's constant chatter. I came away with the most awesome Ford Escape, and I am so happy with it. If you are in the market for a car, you NEED to work with Mark at Smittys in Menasha. there just isn't any other way to do it.

They were honest and direct and seemed to care that I got a good value for my money.

I would recommend Smitty's Auto Mart to anybody looking for a used car in the Fox Valley. The experience worked out great for me.
